South Korea competed at the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris, France, from 28 August to 8 September. Competitors The following is the list of number of competitors in the Games. World Archery
The World Archery Federation (WA, also and formerly known as FITA from the French ''Fédération Internationale de Tir à l'Arc'') is the governing body of the sport of archery. It is based in Lausanne, Switzerland. It is composed of 156 national federations and other archery associations, and is recognised by the International Olympic Committee. History FITA was founded on 4 September 1931 in Lwow, Poland (today Lviv, Ukraine). Its seven founding member states were France, Czechoslovakia, Sweden, Poland, the United States, Hungary, and Italy. Victoria Kingstone
Victoria Kingstone (born 7 August 1981) competes in Para archery for Great Britain in the W1 Classification. Career Victoria's first major competition was at the 2019 World Para Archery Championship. Here she placed 6th in the Individual W1. At the 2022 World Para Archery Championships, she placed 7th in the Individual W1. In the team event at the European championships she won a silver medal, placing 5th in the individual. The following year, she placed 6th in the team event at the 2023 World Para Archery Championships and 8th in the individual. At the European championships that year, she won gold in the individual compound/recurve W1 and a bronze in the team W1. She was also selected to be part of the UK sports programme. Taymon Kenton-Smith (born 6 September 1994) is an Australian Paralympic Recurve Archer. He represented Australia at the 2020 Summer Paralympics, in Men's individual recurve, and Mixed team recurve and has been selected to compete at the 2024 Paris Paralympics . Personal Kenton-Smith was born on 6 September 1994. He was born without any fingers on his left hand. He designed the logo for his Facebook Archery page himself, along with the saying "Half the hand, Twice the effort", and is known by many around him to be very focused and driven when achieving goals. Kenton-Smith completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Southern Queensland and Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Queensland. Yavuz Papağan (born 1 July 1987) is a Turkish para-archer. He is a World and European champion, competing in the men's recurve bow event of disability class W2. Sport career Papağan started archery during his time at the Turkish Armed Forces Rehabilitaion Center in Ankara. In 2017, he became an active para-archer. He competes in the Recurve Open event of wheelchair disability class W2.
