Sound the Alarm is an American pop rock band from Bangor, Pennsylvania. The band consists of singer Cody Jancovic, guitarists Joe Brule and Brian Chiusano, bassist Colin Ellis, and drummer Rick Stephans. Their newest album, ''Stay Inside'', was released on July 17, 2007 by Geffen Records. History Sound The Alarm was formed in 1999 by Cody Jancovic, Brian Chiusano, Colin Ellis, Rick Stephans in their hometown of Bangor in Upper Mount Bethel Township, Pennsylvania. At that time, the band members were only 12 years old. The four played covers of favorite bands under the name Sleepwell. After Joe Brule joined the band, Sleepwell began writing original material and won local acclaim.Corey Apar, Sound the Alarmat Allmusic Working with Rob Freeman, then of Hidden in Plain View, Sleepwell recorded a demo and word spread quickly about the band. ''Sound the Alarm'' is the eleventh studio album by The Dawn, released in 2009. It is the band's first album with the new guitarist Kenneth Ilagan. Five of the album's tracks were produced by Raimund Marasigan, the other five by Ariz Guinto. Marasigan also helped with musical arrangement, especially with the six songs composed by the bass guitar player Buddy Zabala. Pro Tools was used in making half of the songs on the album, a new method for the band. This is the only album to feature guitarist Kenneth Ilagan. ''Sound the Alarm'' is the third full-length album by American singer-songwriter Howie Day, and the follow-up to his million-selling second album '' Stop All the World Now''. It was recorded over a three-year period, during which he attended a rehabilitation center for alcohol abuse. The album was originally set for release in 2008 before being delayed and eventually released by Epic Records on September 8, 2009. In late 2008, Day uploaded the song "Everyone Loves to Love a Lie" onto his MySpace page. The album was also preceded by a three-song EP, entitled ''Be There'', featuring the album tracks "Be There", "40 Hours" and "Counting on Me". The EP was released to iTunes on May 5, 2009. ''Sound the Alarm'' is the fifth studio album by American rock band Saves the Day. After signing to major label DreamWorks Records, the band released ''In Reverie'' in late 2003. Shortly afterwards DreamWorks Records was absorbed by Interscope Records, resulting in the band being dropped from label. After completing some songs in early 2005, the band was aiming to record in May, hoping to release the album in the fall. Pre-production took place in early August with recording being done at the band's own studio, Electric Ladybug Studios with Steve Evetts as the producer. After recording wrapped up in October, the band immediately undertook a 47-date US tour. ''Sound the Alarm'', along with the later records ''Under the Boards'' (2007) and '' Daybreak'' (2011) form a trilogy whose theme is self-discovery. ''And Their Name Was Treason'' is the debut studio album by American rock band A Day to Remember, released on May 10, 2005 through Indianola Records. It followed their second self-released EP, which was produced the same year. The album was the band's only release under Indianola; its success led the group sign to Victory Records. Several songs on the album were written during the band members' teenage years. Recorded in the producer's bedroom, the album contains audio excerpts from several films. The band toured in the United States to help promote the album. The album has since sold over 10,000 copies.
