Sound the Alarm is an American pop rock band from Bangor, Pennsylvania. The band consists of singer Cody Jancovic, guitarists Joe Brule and Brian Chiusano, bassist Colin Ellis, and drummer Rick Stephans. Their newest album, ''Stay Inside'', was released on July 17, 2007 by Geffen Records. History Sound The Alarm was formed in 1999 by Cody Jancovic, Brian Chiusano, Colin Ellis, Rick Stephans in their hometown of Bangor in Upper Mount Bethel Township, Pennsylvania. At that time, the band members were only 12 years old. The four played covers of favorite bands under the name Sleepwell. After Joe Brule joined the band, Sleepwell began writing original material and won local acclaim.Corey Apar, Sound the Alarmat Allmusic Working with Rob Freeman, then of Hidden in Plain View, Sleepwell recorded a demo and word spread quickly about the band. Bangor is a borough located in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located north of Allentown. It had a population of 5,187 as of the 2020 census. Bangor is part of the Lehigh Valley metropolitan area, which had a population of 861,899 and was thus the 68th most populous metropolitan area in the U.S. as of the 2020 census. History The borough was settled about 1760 and first incorporated in 1875. The founder and first Chief Burgess of Bangor was Robert M. Jones, an emigrant from Bangor, Wales. He was the prime mover in the establishment of the slate industry in Northampton County. Slate quarries pepper the area, but only a few are still functioning. A life-sized statue of him, dedicated on September 24, 1914, remains in the town center. ''Believe'' is the second studio album by Australian guitarist Orianthi and her debut album recorded for a major label. It was released on 26 October 2009 by Geffen Records. The album's release was pushed back by Geffen to coincide with the compilation album '' This Is It'' by Michael Jackson, as a result of the publicity generated from her appearance in the concert film of the same name. The album peaked at number 77 at the ''Billboard'' 200. The song "Believe" from which the album is titled, is a cover of the Niels Brinck's song " Believe Again", best known as the Danish entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2009. Orianthi Penny Panagaris (born 22 January 1985), known mononymously as Orianthi, is an Australian guitarist, singer and songwriter who rehearsed in 2009 with Michael Jackson in preparation for his '' This Is It'' concert series, and performed with Alice Cooper's touring band. Bedlight For Blue Eyes
Bedlight for Blue Eyes (stylized as BEDlight For BlueEYES) was an alternative rock band from Berkeley Heights, New Jersey signed to Trustkill Records. In June and July 2005, the band embarked on their first headlining tour, with support from the Higher, My Epiphany and Secret Lives of the Freemasons. Their debut album, ''The Dawn'', was released in August 2005; the album reached No. 45 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. In September and October 2005, they went on tour with labelmates Roses Are Red, alongside Stutterfly and Bleed the Dream. Tokyo Rose (band)
Tokyo Rose is an indie rock band from New Brunswick, New Jersey. As of 2007 they have released 3 studio albums, and a short demo EP, whilst extensively changing their lineup over their 7 years of activity. History Tokyo Rose was formed in 1999 by Mike Glita, former bassist of Senses Fail, and Matt Reilly, formerly of The Finals. Soon after going through several line up changes, Ryan Dominguez became the new singer/frontman of the band. This marked the fruition of what eventually became what Tokyo Rose is today. In the summer of 2001, Reilly parted ways with the band, while Glita, the drummer of Tokyo Rose at the time, and Ryan Dominguez (vocals, guitar) enlisted Chris Poulsen (bass), formerly of Professor Plum, and headed into the studio to record their debut EP "Chasing Fireflies."
