Julie Soso
Julie Soso Akeke (born 29 August 1960) is a Papua New Guinean politician. She was the Governor of Eastern Highlands Province from 2012 to 2017. Background Soso was a broadcaster and women's advocate before entering politics, serving as president of the Eastern Highlands Provincial Council of Women and the deputy chairperson of the district AIDS council. She advocated a ban on firearms and ammunition in Papua New Guinea, called on the provincial government to ban alcohol, and supported reserved seats for women in parliament. She unsuccessfully contested the Eastern Highlands seat at the 1997, 2002 and 2007 elections. A documentary, ''PNG: The Rules of the Game'', was made about her 2007 campaign. Soso was married to Paul Akeke for more than thirty years. He died in June 2016. Soso, Mississippi
Soso is a town in Jones County, Mississippi, United States. The population was 418 at the 2020 census. Paul Davis, a singer and songwriter from Meridian, Mississippi, wrote a song called "Sweet Magnolia Blues", which refers to Soso. History According to tradition, the name "Soso" was derived from an old settler's common response to a question about how he was doing: "so-so". After the Civil War, yeoman farmers returned to the area. The town developed a small mixed-race community. Among its notable residents was Unionist Newton Knight, who lived there mostly after the Reconstruction era with his wife Rachel and family. Knight was known for having led the Knight Company in and around Jones County during 1863 and 1864 in resistance to Confederate authorities, trying to protect local farmers. GWSN (), also known as Girls in the Park, is a South Korean multinational girl group formed in 2018 by Kiwi Pop (now known as The Wave Music). The group consists of seven members: Miya, Seokyoung, Seoryoung, Anne, Minju, Soso, and Lena, and debuted on September 5, 2018 with the title track ''Puzzle Moon'' from their extended play ''The Park in the Night Part One''. Name GWSN is an abbreviation of ''Gongwon Sonyeo.'' She has released two albums and two extended plays, and worked with music producer Max Martin as a songwriter under her name and a number of pseudonyms. Biography Somajo released ''The Laptop Diaries'', her first album, in 2008. The album's musical style has led critics to compare her with singer Robyn. In 2011, Somajo released the song "Wristcutters Inc.", featuring Pelle Almqvist from The Hives, then intended to be the lead single from her major-label debut album. Brad Dexter (born Boris Michel Soso; April 9, 1917 – December 12, 2002) was an American actor and film producer. He is known for tough-guy and western roles, including the 1960 film ''The Magnificent Seven'' (1960), and producing several films for Sidney J. Furie such as '' Lady Sings the Blues''. He is also known for a short marriage to Peggy Lee, a friendship with Marilyn Monroe and for saving Frank Sinatra from drowning. Dexter's tough-guy roles contrasted with his easygoing and friendly real-life personality.
