Sorin Rădoi
Sorin Nicușor Rădoi (born 30 June 1985) is a Romanian former professional footballer who played as a right back. Club career Rădoi's first club was Extensiv Craiova, where he made his debut in the Romanian Liga II in the 2002–03 season. He left Craiova for one of Bucharest's outsider teams, Sportul Studențesc, with whom he won promotion to the first league. Rădoi played 19 matches for Sportul in the 2004–05 Liga I season. In the summer of 2005, Rădoi and Sportul Studențesc teammate, Gheorghe Bucur (Liga I top goalscorer at the time), moved to FC Politehnica Timișoara. In 2008, Rădoi was transferred to U Cluj for whom he played his first match against Rapid București. Fotbal Club Viitorul Constanța (), commonly known as Viitorul Constanța or simply Viitorul, was a Romanian professional football club based in Ovidiu, Constanța County. They last played their home matches in blue and black kits at the Stadionul Viitorul, situated a few kilometres north of the city of Constanța. Founded in 2009 by Gheorghe Hagi, the team was particularly known for promoting young talents from its academy, which earned them the nickname "Hagi's Kids". The Gheorghe Hagi Football Academy ( ro, Academia de fotbal Gheorghe Hagi) is a football youth academy based in Ovidiu, Constanța County, which serves as the primary youth clinic of Romanian club Farul Constanța. Until 2021, it was the primary youth clinic of Viitorul Constanța. Founded in 2009 by former Romanian international Gheorghe Hagi, the academy cost €11 million and is one of the biggest and most modern in Southeastern Europe, holding over 300 players, 9 training fields and other facilities. Fotbal Club Rapid 1923, commonly known as Rapid București () or simply as Rapid, is a Romanian professional football club based in Bucharest, which competes in the Liga I. Gheorghe Bucur
Gheorghe "Gigel" Bucur (born 8 April 1980, in Bucharest) is a former Romanian football player. He is a short and speedy forward. Bucur has won the top league goalscorer award in the Romanian Liga 1 twice, in the 2004–05 and in the 2008–09 seasons. He was tied on goals with another player on both occasions, first with Claudiu Niculescu and then with Florin Costea. The Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1, is a Romanian professional league for men's association football clubs. Currently sponsored by betting company Superbet, it is officially known as the SuperLiga. It is the country's top football competition, being contested by 16 clubs which take part in a promotion and relegation system with the Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table. The Liga I was established in 1909 and commenced play for the 1909–10 campaign, being currently on the 29th place in UEFA's league coefficient ranking list. The 2002–03 Divizia B was the 63rd season of the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The format has been maintained to two series, each of them having 16 teams. Liga II
The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. Generally, Seria I included eastern teams while Seria II included western sides, although clubs near the center of the country are allowed to choose in which series they will compete. The first six teams from each series participate in a play-off for potential promotion to Liga I.
