Shankar (actor)
Shankar is an Indian actor who has worked in Malayalam and Tamil films. He acted in nearly 200 films.In the 80s and early 90s he was the most prominent romantc lead actor of Malayalam cinema. Shankar's debut Tamil film '' Oru Thalai Ragam,'' and Malayalam debut, ''Manjil Virinja Pookkal,'' completed a theatrical run of 365 and 250 days respectively. Early life Shankar was born to Thekkeveettil N. K. Panicker and Sulochana in Kechery, Thrissur, Kerala in 1960. His family later moved to Chennai when he was four years old. His father was a senior manager at Indian Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited. He has two siblings, Krishnakumar and Indra. Raju Daniel (27 June 1950 – 17 September 2018), better known by his stage name Captain Raju, was an Indian army officer and Indian actor. Shivaji (12 May 1957 - 30 September 2004) was an Indian actor, most popular for his Malayalam films during the 1980s and 1990s. He mainly did villain roles. Background Shivaji was born at Sankaramangalam Pattambi, Palakkad as the fourth child of (both late) Dr. A.K. Warrier (Panjal Ayyappankavu Variam) and Kamalam Varasyar (Manissery Thekkeppattu Variam). His debut movie was ''Kaaliyamarddanam'' in 1982. He did many notable roles in TV dramas and soap operas. Subair (25 May 1962 – 18 August 2010) was an Indian actor in Malayalam cinema industry. He was part of Malayalam films for nearly two decades and acted in around 200 films. Personal life Subair was born in the village of Chokli, Thalasserry in Kannur District, Kerala, India as the son of Sulaiman and Aysha. He died on 18 August 2010 due to a cardiac arrest. M. L. Varghese (1960 – 3 February 2011), popularly known by stage name Machan Varghese, was a Malayalam film actor and mimicry artist. He started his career as a mimicry artist in Kalabhavan (house of arts) and debuted as an actor through ''Kabooliwala''. Thereafter he played many notable roles in Malayalam films, mainly as a comedian. His association with Siddique-Lal, Rafi-Mecartin and Lal Jose are particularly noted.
