Songchai Rattanasuban ( th, ทรงชัย รัตนสุบรรณ; born: March 5, 1946 in Chachoengsao province) is a famous Thai Muay Thai and professional boxing promoter. He is well known for being a promoter of the fight titled "Suek Onesongchai" (ศึกวันทรงชัย; lit: "Songchai Day Battle") of Lumpinee Stadium especially in the 80's and 90's that have been recognized as the golden era of Muay Thai. He is the founder and CEO of Onesongchai Promotion, a Muay Thai and professional boxing promotion company based in Bangkok. Lumpinee Stadium
Lumpinee Boxing Stadium ( th, สนามเวทีมวยลุมพินี) is a sporting arena in Bangkok, Thailand. The stadium is named after Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha. Opened more than a decade later than Rajadamnern Stadium, Lumpinee is run by the Royal Thai Army. It has become the symbol of modern Muay Thai. Only Rajadamnern Stadium rivals the prestige of holding the title of "Muay Thai Champion of Lumpinee". The ranking system and championship titles are held from mini flyweight (105 lb) up to super welterweight (154 lb). Muay Thai bouts are held on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Namkabuan Nongkeepahuyuth (; 2 February 1973 – 7 April 2021) was a Muay Thai fighter from Thailand. Biography and career He was born as Kampiaw Sijantuek (คำเพียว สีจันทึก; nickname: Piaw; เพียว). He is the younger brother of legendary fighter Namphon Nongkeepahuyuth. He fought for the first time in 1987 for a purse of 3,000 baht. During his brother's heyday, Namkabuan was considered an ordinary fighter with ordinary skills. He was famously knocked out in 33 seconds by Wangchannoi Sor.Palangchai via a left hook. Yokthai Sithoar ( th, หยกไทย ศิษย์ อ., born December 25, 1974) is a retired Thai professional boxer who held the WBA super flyweight (115 lb) world champion in the late 90s. He is also retired Muay Thai kickboxer and mixed martial artist (MMA). Daorung Chuvatana ( th, ดาวรุ่ง ชูวัฒนะ) also known as Surapol Sidangnoi (สุรพล สีแดงน้อย) (born 1969-04-01 in Nam Pat District, Uttaradit Province, Thailand) is a retired boxer who won World titles in the Bantamweight weight divisions. Chuvatana turned pro in 1985 and in 1994 won the WBA bantamweight title by winning a decision over John Michael Johnson by controversial TKO. Near the end of the first round, Chuvatana unintentionally headbutted Johnson, causing him to sustain a cut above his right eye, however, the referee ruled that it was caused by a punch and Chuvatana was declared the winner after the ringside doctor inspected the cut and called the fight off. Ramon Dekkers
Ramon Dekkers (4 September 1969 – 27 February 2013) was a Dutch kickboxer and an eight-time Muay Thai world champion. Dekkers was a favourite with fight fans due to his fast-paced, aggressive fighting style. Dekkers was also renowned for his willingness to go abroad to fight the Thai champions in their own country.
