Sommer Ray (born September 15, 1996) is an American Internet celebrity, social media personality, fitness model, and former competitive bodybuilder. Early life Sommer Ray was born on September 15, 1996 in Colorado. She was homeschooled until high school but later dropped out at age 15 due to bullying. Career Bodybuilding and Fitness Ray's first bodybuilding coach was her father and she started competing in bikini bodybuilding at the age of 16. In the 2015 NPC Colorado State Championship, she won first place in both the Teenage and Class D categories. She didn't compete for long and soon stopped competing in shows after turning 18. she cited the prevalence of performance-enhancing substances, such as steroids, in the fitness industry as the reason for her quitting.
