Somerset County Courthouse (Pennsylvania)
Somerset County Courthouse is a historic county courthouse building located at Somerset, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. It was built between 1904 and 1906, and is a two-story Classical Revival building measuring 146 feet by 112 feet, and 135 feet tall. It is built of Indiana limestone and sits on a sandstone foundation. The building has a terra cotta tile roof, and central tower with copper dome. United Airlines Flight 93 was a domestic scheduled passenger flight that was hijacked by four al-Qaeda attackers aboard the plane on the morning of September 11, 2001, as part of the September 11 attacks. Herman Husband (1724–1795), also known as Harmon Husband, was a farmer, radical, pamphleteer, author, and preacher.
