''Solo'' (stylized as ''SOLO'') is the second Korean EP of South Korean singer Heo Young-saeng. It was released on May 22, 2012 under B2M Entertainment and distributed by LOEN Entertainment The album was later released in Taiwan on August 24, 2012 under Warner Music Taiwan. Background and development After the release of his debut solo album ''Let It Go'' in May 2011, Heo turned to acting. He made his musical debut in ''The Three Musketeers'' in November 2011 and made his first drama appearance on KBS's daily sitcom ''I Need A Fairy'' (or ''Sent From Heaven'') in February 2012. He also contributed to that drama's original soundtrack with the release of "Love Song". In the midst of the sitcom, B2M Entertainment started announcing Heo's upcoming album release via Twitter. It announced his comeback with the tweet: "He is Back D-DAY 13", and another one stating: "120522 YS 2nd mini album OLOrelease...R U Ready??", accompanied by a photo of Heo. The Circle Digital Chart, previously known as the Gaon Digital Chart, is the music industry standard record chart ranking the 200 most popular singles in South Korea. It provides rankings on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, which is based on an aggregate of streaming, downloads and background music from major South Korean music platforms. ''M Countdown'' () is a South Korean music program broadcast by Mnet. The show features appearances by popular music artists who also perform live on stage. It is broadcast from CJ E&M Center Studio in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul. Broadcast ''M Countdown'' airs live on domestic television at 6PM KST every Thursday. Live streaming is available internationally via the ''M Countdown On Air'' page on Mwave's website. In the Philippines, online multi-view live broadcast of the show is available via gigafest.smart. SS501 is a South Korean boy band consisting of five members: Kim Hyun-joong, Heo Young-saeng, Kim Kyu-jong, Park Jung-min and Kim Hyung-jun. They debuted in 2005 with the EP ''Warning'', which included their first number one song, "Never Again". In 2007, SS501 entered the Japanese market with the maxi single ''Kokoro'', which debuted at number five on the Oricon chart. The following year, in 2008, they became the first South Korean artists to win the award for Best New Artist at the Japan Gold Disc Awards.
