Eirik Solheim
Eirik Johan Solheim (born August 20, 1960) is a Norway, Norwegian professor in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Bergen in Norway. Eirik Johan Solheim defended his doctoral thesis ''Effects of Bioerodible Polyorthoester on Heterotopic and Orthotopic Bone Induction in Rats'' at the University of Oslo in 1993. He did his specialist training for orthopedic surgery at Hagavik Hospital, Haukeland Universitetssykehus og Haraldsplass Deaconess Hospital. Dr. Solheim has authored or co-authored three books and about 90 scholarly articles and monographs on various orthopedic topics. Maria Solheim
Maria Solheim (born 19 January 1982 in Alsvåg, Øksnes, Vesterålen) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter. She was discovered at 15 years old, by a travelling musician, singing her own songs in a small fishing village. She has released 7 solo albums. Career Solheim signed her first record deal with the label Kirkelig Kulturverksted in 1999 at the age of 17, and her first album was released two years later. She frequently tours Norway and Germany. Her music was featured at the 'Grateful Sound' event in the anime adaptation of the manga series '' BECK''. In 2006 Solheim chose to withdraw from the limelight for a period, getting married and having a daughter. Then in 2009, she had a joint No. 1 hit alongside Hans Erik Dyvik Husby in the Norwegian Singles Chart with "Rom for alle". The song stayed at No. 1 for 3 weeks including the Christmas chart for 2009. Robert Solheim is an electronic music composer from Norway. His styles are techno and deep/tech-house, downtempo and electronica with a strong emphasis on Nordic sound. Influenced by all kinds of electronic music, he has developed his characteristic style from his first ambient and ambient-techno releases in the 1990s, through down tempo and deep/tech-house and techno for clubs and home entertainment. Nina Solheim
Nina Solheim (born 4 August 1979) is a Norwegian taekwondo practitioner. She won a silver medal in the women's heavyweight (+67 kg) division at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, beaten by Mexican María del Rosario Espinoza in the final. She also qualified and competed in the women's middleweight (67 kg) division at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. She lost in the quarterfinals against Luo Wei of China after injuring her knee. In addition to a bronze medal from the 2001 World Taekwondo Championships in Jeju, South Korea, Solheim won the gold medal in middleweight (72 kg) at the 2006 World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand. Mona Solheim (born 4 August 1979) is a Norwegian taekwondo practitioner. Biography Solheim competed at the 1999, 2007, 2009 and 2011 World Taekwondo Championships. She won a bronze medal in lightweight at the 2007 World Taekwondo Championships in Beijing, after being defeated by eventual world champion Karine Sergerie in the semifinal. Mats Goberg Solheim (born 3 December 1987) is a former Norwegian footballer who played as a defender. Career Sogndal Solheim started his career at the local club Loen IL, continuing at Stryn TIL in the lower divisions. He initially played as a striker. He attracted interest from the professional club Sogndal, then playing in the Norwegian second tier, during the summer of 2006. He subsequently joined the club and went on to enjoy a promotion to Tippeligaen four seasons later, in 2010. During his time at Sogndal he got known as a utility player, being used in almost every outfield position. He has since established himself as a natural wing back on either flanks.
