Solaiman Solaiman ( ar, سليمان سليمان) (born 6 May 1990 in Syria) is a Syrian footballer. He currently plays for Al-Wahda, which competes in the Syrian Premier League, the top division in Syria. Club career Solaiman began his professional career with Syrian Premier League club Al Futowa. He joined the senior squad on 2008, then joined Al-Wahda in the 2012-2013 season, and together won the Syrian Cup. International career Solaiman was a part of the Syrian U-17 national team in the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup in South Korea. The FIFA U-17 World Cup 2007, the twelfth edition of the tournament, was held in South Korea between 18 August and 9 September 2007. Syrians ( ar, سُورِيُّون, ''Sūriyyīn'') are an Eastern Mediterranean ethnic group indigenous to the Levant. They share common Levantine Semitic roots. Syrian Cup
The Syrian Cup ( ar, سوريا) is Syria's premier knockout Cup tournament in men's football. It was first contested in 1959. Al-Ittihad SC has won the competition on 10 occasions. The final was first played in the 1960-61 season during the UAR era and won by Al-Majd SC. The tournament has been held annually since then except for the 1963, 1972, 1974, 1975, 1976 and 1977 seasons. The record for consecutive wins in the competition is four titles, only two teams have achieved such as Al-Karamah and Al-Fotuwa. Al-Ittihad are the current title holders.
