Sol, vind och vatten (, "Sun, wind and water") is a song written by Swedish lyricist Kenneth Gärdestad and composer Ted Gärdestad. First recorded by Lena Andersson, the song was released as a single in October 1972. Ted Gärdestad recorded the song for his 1973 album ''Ted.'' Context By the second verse, the birth of Jesus is apparent, but in Sweden the song is strongly associated with the summertime and not Christmastime. Many people interpret ''dig'' "you" as a human being, and not God or Jesus. Later during the 1970s, 1980s and early 1990s, the term ''Sol, vind och vatten became associated with the issue of energy politics, with protests against nuclear power yelling: *-Vad skall väck? -Barsebäck! Lena Marianne Andersson (born 11 April 1955, Fritsla, Västergötland) is a Swedish singer, scoring several hits in the early 1970s. Andersson was signed at 17-years-old as a Polar recording artist in 1971. Benny & Björn of ABBA wrote a song for her which placed third in the Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 1972, 1972 Swedish Eurovision selection contest. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and known by its current name since October 2007, based on sales data from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (in Swedish Grammofonleverantörernas förening). Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list. Laleh first appeared on Swedish charts in early 2005 with the single "Invisible (My Song)" which instantly reached the top ten in the country's chart. Barsebäck Nuclear Power Plant
Barsebäck () is a Boiling water reactor, boiling water nuclear power plant currently undergoing the process of nuclear decommissioning. The plant is situated in Barsebäck, Kävlinge Municipality, Skåne, Sweden. Located 20 kilometers from the Danish capital, Copenhagen, the Denmark, Danish government pressed for its closure during the entirety of its operating lifetime. As a result of a now former Nuclear power phase-out in Sweden, Swedish nuclear power phase-out, its two reactors have been closed down. The first reactor, Barsebäck 1, was closed November 30, 1999, and the second, Barsebäck 2, ceased operations May 31, 2005. At the time of closure, each reactor had a net capacity of 600 megawatts. Unit 1 supplied 93,8 TWh and unit 2 supplied 108,5 TWh to the electrical grid.
