Lena Andersson (singer)
Lena Marianne Andersson (born 11 April 1955, Fritsla, Västergötland) is a Swedish singer, scoring several hits in the early 1970s. Andersson was signed at 17-years-old as a Polar recording artist in 1971. Benny & Björn of ABBA wrote a song for her which placed third in the Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 1972, 1972 Swedish Eurovision selection contest. For the Eurovision Song Contest 1972, Sweden chose their entrant in a national selection called Melodifestivalen 1972. About 1,000 entries were submitted, and Sveriges Radio picked 10 of them for the final. Family Four, last year's representative, won, again with "Härliga sommardag", a song written by Håkan Elmquist. Before Eurovision Melodifestivalen 1972 Melodifestivalen 1972 was the selection for the 13th song to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest. It was the 12th time that this system of picking a song had been used. Approximately 1,000 songs were submitted to Sveriges Radio for the competition. The final was held in the Cirkus (Stockholm), Cirkus in Stockholm on 12 February 1972, presented by Gunilla Marcus and was broadcast on SVT1, TV1 but was not broadcast on radio. Livets Ord, literally ''Word of Life'', is a megachurch in Uppsala, within the Swedish Word of Faith movement. Livets Ord is the foremost example of the Neo-charismatic movement in Sweden, closely related to Word of Faith, and it may be viewed as a Swedish expression similar to Pentecostal elements in American Christianity. History The congregation was founded in Uppsala by Ulf Ekman on May 24, 1983, who also served as its leader until 2000. Ekman passed on the local pastorship in Uppsala to Robert Ekh that year and instead began working on expanding the church's international work. In 2013 Joakim Lundqvist, become the senior pastor. Västervik is a city status in Sweden, city and the seat of Västervik Municipality, Kalmar County, Sweden, with 36,747 inhabitants in 2021. Västervik is one of three coastal towns with a notable population size in the province of Småland. Ted Arnbjörn Gärdestad (; 18 February 195622 June 1997) was a Swedish singer, songwriter, musician and actor known internationally as Ted. Gärdestad began his acting career in 1966 and began playing music in 1971, signing with Polar Music. Assigned with in-house producers Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, Gärdestad released his first single, "Hela världen runt," in late 1971 and worked closely with the four members of ABBA to create his debut album '' Undringar'' (1972). As Polar Music's best-selling solo artist (aside from ABBA), he continued to work with the group members throughout the 1970s, releasing three more albums '' Ted'' (1973), ''Upptåg'' (1974) and ''Franska Kort'' (1976), which were moderately successful.
