Acclaim Studios Manchester (formerly Software Creations) was a British video game developer based in Manchester, England. The company was established in 1985 by Richard Kay. They were primarily known for their video games based on movie and comic licences like Marvel Comics, ''Cutthroat Island'', Disney's ''Beauty and the Beast'' and the original titles ''Plok'', ''Solstice'', and its sequel ''Equinox''. The Revd. Michael Stuart Follin is a former Video game, computer game game programmer, programmer, working until the late 1990s. Bubble Bobble
is a 1986 platform video game, platform arcade game developed and published by Taito. It was distributed in the United States by Romstar, and in Europe by Electrocoin. Players control Bub and Bob, two dragons that set out to save their girlfriends from a world known as the Cave of Monsters. In each level, Bub and Bob must defeat each enemy present by trapping them in bubbles and popping, who turn into bonus items when they hit the ground.
