Sofie Junge Pedersen
Sofie Junge Pedersen (born 24 April 1992) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Italian Serie A club Juventus FC and the Denmark national team. She previously played for IK Skovbakken and Fortuna Hjørring of the Danish Elitedivisionen, the latter of which she captained, and for FC Rosengård in the Swedish Damallsvenskan. Club career Junge Pedersen played for IK Skovbakken until 2011 before moving to Fortuna Hjørring. Skovbakken had made Junge Pedersen and fellow youngster Pernille Harder contracted players in April 2010, in recognition of their exceptional potential. In June 2015, Junge Pedersen signed for FC Rosengård, after impressing the Swedish Damallsvenskan champions while playing against them with Fortuna Hjørring in the UEFA Women's Champions League. The 2008 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup is the first women's football U-17 World Cup in FIFA history. It was held in New Zealand from 28 October to 16 November 2008. It is the officially recognized world championship for women's under-17 national football teams. This was the first women's world youth championship organized by FIFA with the age limit of 17. Pernille Mosegaard Harder (born 15 November 1992) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or a forward for FA Women's Super League club Chelsea and the Denmark national team. The Damallsvenskan, Swedish for ''ladies all-Swedish'' and also known as OBOS Damallsvenskan for sponsorship reasons, is the highest division of women's football in Sweden. It is also referred to as the women's Allsvenskan. The term Allsvenskan alone is used to reference the men's division. The division consists of a league of 14 teams. From 2013, the Damallsvenskan began operating on a system of promotion and relegation with the Elitettan. The Danish Women's League ( da, Danmarksturneringens Kvindeliga, Kvinde-DM Liga or Kvindeligaen) is a semi-professional top-flight league for women's football in Denmark. It is organised by the Danish Football Association (DBU) as part of the nation-wide Danmarksturneringen i kvindefodbold (Kvinde-DM) and is placed as the first division of the Danish football league system.
