Socialist Association
The Socialist Association ( cs, Socialistické sjednocení) was a union of two political parties in Czechoslovakia, the Independent Socialists of Bohuslav Vrbenský and the Independent Radical Social Democratic Party of Vilém Brodecký. The Socialist Association was founded on March 23, 1923, by the fusion of the parliamentary factions of the two groups. The two groups, representing a combined membership of around 15,000, were set to merge but Brodecký's group decided to merge with the Czechoslovak Social Democratic Workers Party instead in 1924. The Independent Socialists, renamed the Independent Socialist Workers Party in June 1924, merged with the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia in September 1925.Kowalski, Werner. Bohuslav Vrbenský
Bohuslav ( uk, Богуслав, yi, באָסלעוו or ''Boslov'') is a city on the Ros River in Obukhiv Raion, Kyiv Oblast (oblast, province) of Ukraine. Population: . It hosts the administration of Bohuslav urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. The population in 2001 was 17,135. It is known as Boslov by some of its Yiddish speaking residents and Boguslav (by the Russophones in Ukraine, Russophones). History The city's year of establishment and source of name is uncertain. It is mentioned by Hypatian Codex as earlier as 1032 which is assumed as the year of establishment. Communist Party Of Czechoslovakia
The Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (Czech and Slovak: ''Komunistická strana Československa'', KSČ) was a communist and Marxist–Leninist political party in Czechoslovakia that existed between 1921 and 1992. It was a member of the Comintern. Between 1929 and 1953, it was led by Klement Gottwald. The KSČ was the sole governing party in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic though it was a leading party along with the Slovak branch and four other legally permitted non-communist parties. After its election victory in 1946, it seized power in the 1948 Czechoslovak coup d'état and established a one-party state allied with the Soviet Union. Nationalization of virtually all private enterprises followed, and a command economy was implemented. The Czech Social Democratic Party ( cs, Česká strana sociálně demokratická, ČSSD, ) is a social-democratic political party in the Czech Republic. Sitting on the centre-left of the political spectrum and holding pro-European views, it is a member of the Party of European Socialists, the Socialist International, and the Progressive Alliance. Masaryk Democratic Academy is the party-affiliated's think tank. The ČSSD was a junior coalition party within Andrej Babiš' Second Cabinet's minority government from June 2018, and was a senior coalition party from 1998 to 2006 and from 2013 to 2017. The Labour and Socialist International (LSI; german: Sozialistische Arbeiter-Internationale, label=German, SAI) was an international organization of socialist and labour parties, active between 1923 and 1940. The group was established through a merger of the rival Vienna International and the former Second International, based in London, and was the forerunner of the present-day Socialist International. The LSI had a history of rivalry with the Communist International (Comintern), with which it competed over the leadership of the international socialist and labour movement.
