is the 24th studio album by Japanese singer-songwriter Mari Hamada, released by Victor Entertainment on April 19, 2023. The album coincides with Hamada's 40th anniversary in the music industry. It features a roster of guest musicians, including Loudness guitarist Akira Takasaki, Symphony X guitarist Michael Romeo, Act of Defiance guitarist Chris Broderick, veteran session guitarist Michael Landau, Mr. Big bassist Billy Sheehan, Steve Vai bassist Philip Bynoe, veteran session bassist Leland Sklar, veteran keyboardist Jeff Bova, Planet X keyboardist Derek Sherinian, and violinist Lili Haydn. Mari Hamada
is a Japanese heavy metal and pop rock singer. Since her debut in 1983, Hamada has been known as the "Heavy Metal Queen" of Japan. Throughout her career, she has released 25 singles and 23 studio albums. Biography Early history Mari Hamada started singing when she joined a choir at elementary school and participated in recording TV commercial jingles while in junior high. While at Musashigaoka High School, she formed a punk rock band called "Mari Band". Leland Sklar
Leland Bruce Sklar (born May 28, 1947) is an American bassist and session musician. Sklar rose to prominence as a member of James Taylor's backing band, which coaleced into a group in its own right, The Section. This group of musicians so frequently supported many of the artists on Asylum Records, both on stage and in the studio, that they became known as Asylum's ''de facto'' house band. Those artists would become the standard bearers of the singer-songwriter era in the 1970s. Since then, Sklar has recorded and toured with artists such as James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Carole King, Linda Ronstadt, Phil Collins, Toto, Lyle Lovett and many, many more. Gregg Bissonette
Gregg Bissonette (born June 9, 1959) is an American jazz and rock drummer and vocalist. He is the brother of bassist Matt Bissonette, with whom he frequently collaborates. He has played on albums by dozens of recording artists, including David Lee Roth's first three solo albums. Career One of Bissonette's first recordings was on jazz trumpet legend Maynard Ferguson's ''Live from San Francisco'' in 1983. Brother Matt was also in the band and on the recording. He later appeared on Brandon Fields' ''The Other Side of the Story'' in 1985. It featured David Garfield on keyboards. A few years later Bissonette would start playing shows with Fields, Garfield and Steve Lukather on guitar and with John Peña on bass as Los Lobotomys. Lili Haydn (born December 25, 1969) is a Canadian-born rock violinist, vocalist, actress, and composer. As a child, she pursued a career as an actress; at age eight she discovered the violin and began to focus on classical music.
