So You Think You Can Dance (Belgium And The Netherlands, Season 2)
The second season of ''So You Think You Can Dance'' in the Benelux aired in fall of 2009. It followed an initial production in the Netherlands in 2008, with the second season now expanding in scope to include Belgium. Dutch channel RTL4 continued to broadcast the show in the Netherlands, while Belgian station VTM was the Flemish broadcaster. With the departure of the first season's host, singer EliZe, the presentation duties for the show fell to new co-hosts An Lemmens and Dennis Weening, who have remained with the production for its subsequent three seasons. The second season premiered on September 1, 2009 and concluded eight weeks later on November 29, with Belgian Els Smekens announced winner in a live finale. Smekens won a choice of dance school opportunities in the U.S., a cash prize of €20,000, and a dance solo in the musical Hairspray. An Lemmens
An Lemmens (born 8 September 1980) is a television and radio presenter at VTM/ 2BE/Studio Brussel and a former VJ on TMF Belgium. Career Lemmens, while studying to be a veterinary assistant, was discovered by television broadcast network TMF in 2003. She presented several programs and award shows and became the broadcaster's leading host from 2003 until 2007. Shows she hosted on TMF include ''Zoom!'', ''Double Trouble'', ''Oh My God'', ''Dump Your Boyfriend'', ''TMF Café'', ''Dance 'n' Hold'', ''Splash'' and ''Al Frisko''. She also had her own signature shows L.A. Baby and An Tour where she would meet up with and interview several known bands. Veghel () is a town and a former municipality in the southern Netherlands. On 1 January 2017 Veghel, together with Schijndel and Sint-Oedenrode, merged into a new municipality called Meierijstad creating the largest municipality of the province North-Brabant in terms of land area. Meise () is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality comprises the towns of Meise proper and Wolvertem (a ''deelgemeente''), and, several smaller villages like Sint-Brixius-Rode, Oppem, Meusegem, Impde/Imde, Rossem, Westrode and quarters as Bouchout, Nerom and Slozen. Heule
Heule is a submunicipality of the city of Kortrijk in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The first notion of this settlement date of the year 1111. Heule has a surface of 1169h and has a population of 10,503 (2009). Surrounding villages of Heule are Bissegem, Gullegem, Lendelede and Kuurne. Capelle aan den IJssel (; en, Capelle on the IJssel) is a small city and municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. Hoeselt
Hoeselt (; li, Hoeiselt) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg. On January 1, 2018, Hoeselt had a total population of 9,685. The total area is 30.02 km2 which gives a population density of 323 inhabitants per km2. Situated close to the "Roman" Tongeren, many traces from the Roman empire were found in the fertile soil of Hoeselt. In 1066, this village came under the surveillance of Hoei; it was in that time still named Housle (from ''hus'' and ''lo'', meaning house by the forest). These forests of Hoeselt were cultivated in the 12th and 13th century. Later, Hoeselt was part of the Frankish Kingdom; and then its territory fell under the Bishop of Liège.
