Snøholstinden is a mountain in Vang Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The tall mountain peak lies just inside Vang Municipality, but the lower elevations of the mountain itself extend into the neighboring Lom Municipality in Innlandet county and Luster Municipality in Vestland county. The mountain is located in the Jotunheimen mountains and inside the Jotunheimen National Park. The mountain sits about northwest of the village of Vang i Valdres. The mountain is surrounded by several other notable mountains including Storegut to the southwest, Store Rauddalseggje to the northeast, Slettmarkpiggen and Galdeberget to the southeast, and Høgbrothøgdi and Langeskavlen to the southwest. Storegut is a mountain on the border of Vang Municipality in Innlandet county and Luster Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The tall mountain is located in the Jotunheimen mountains and inside the Jotunheimen National Park. The mountain sits about north of the village of Tyinkrysset. The mountain is surrounded by several other notable mountains including Uranostinden and Langeskavltinden to the west, Langeskavlen to the southwest, Høgbrothøgdi to the east, and Snøholstinden and Store Rauddalseggje to the northeast. Name The name is a compound word made up of ''stor'' which means 'big' and ''gut'' which means 'boy', therefore together, the name means "Big Boy". The topographic isolation refers to the shortest ''horizontal'' distance one would have to travel to find a higher summit. Location of peaks Most of these peaks are in the municipalities of Lom, Norway, Lom, Skjåk, Luster, Norway, Luster, and Vågå, connected to the mountain chain that reaches its prominence with Jotunheimen. There are also several peaks in Dovrefjell, Rondane, Dovre, Lesja, and Folldal that also reach above 2000 meters. Store Rauddalseggi or Store Rauddalseggje is a mountain on the border of Luster Municipality in Vestland county and Lom Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The tall mountain is located in the Jotunheimen mountains within Jotunheimen National Park and it is the 70th highest mountain in Norway. The mountain sits about south of the village of Fossbergom and about northeast of the village of Øvre Årdal. The mountain is surrounded by several other notable mountains including Storådalshøi and Høgtunga to the east; Snøholstinden to the south; Mjølkedalstinden to the west; Austre Høgvagltinden and Høgvagltindene to the northwest; Skarddalstinden to the north; Skarddalseggi and Semeltinden to the northeast. Innlandet is a county in Norway. It was created on 1 January 2020 with the merger of the old counties of Oppland and Hedmark (the municipalities of Jevnaker and Lunner were transferred to the neighboring county of Viken on the same date). The new county has an area of , making it the second largest county in Norway after Troms og Finnmark county. Jotunheimen National Park ( no, Jotunheimen nasjonalpark, "Home of the Giants") is a national park in Norway, recognized as one of the country's premier hiking and fishing regions. The national park covers and is part of the larger area Jotunheimen. Vestland is a county in Norway established on 1 January 2020. The county is located in Western Norway and it is centred around the city of Bergen, Norway's second largest city.
