Snowgoons
History Snowgoons is a German underground hip hop production team composed of DJ Illegal (Manuu Rückert) and Det Gunner (D. Keller). In 2011, producers Sicknature (Jeppe Andersen) from Denmark and J.S. Kuster (Johann Sebastian Kuster) from Germany joined the group. Det and DJ Illegal first started in 1999 as the two original members. In 2006, they decided to a add a third member, Torben from Germany, who was a part of the group until 2008. After Torben left, they decided to add a third member again in the same year, DJ Waxwork from Germany, who was a part of the group until 2009. The Snowgoons are known for using orchestral/epic samples and for working with underground MCs, like members of Wu-Tang Clan, AOTP, Boot Camp Click and La Coka Nostra. The team cite DJ Premier, Alchemist and RZA as influences. They have released several Snowgoons albums. Sicknature
Sicknature is an independent Rapping, rapper and hip-hop producer from the southern part of Copenhagen, Denmark. He began his career making music and recording with his childhood friend Jesta in the mid 1990s. Sicknature is also a producer in the hip-hop producer group Snowgoons. Solo career beginning Jesta quit making music, but Sicknature would continue on solo. In the late 1990s and early 2000s he was very active with touring (in Denmark) and recording demo projects. In 2004, he was signed to a label. In this connection, he and his childhood friend Jesta got back together to produce songs for the label’s compilation project. However, the label decided to release the songs as a Sicknature project. This explains why this project is not considered an actual Sicknature album. In 2006, Sicknature was unsigned again and started producing songs for artists overseas. Viro The Virus
Calvin James Howard (October 4, 1978 – April 16, 2012), better known as Viro the Virus, was an underground hip hop artist based in New Jersey and Philadelphia. Despite only some commercial success, Viro became well known on the underground hip hop circuit, with his most notable appearance being on the track ''"Starlight"'' from the Snowgoons' album ''Black Snow''. Sticky Fingaz joined the group in 1991. Michael Januario (born January 13, 1983) better known by his stage name M-Dot is an Italian-American rapper and producer. Before becoming a rap musician, Januario played college basketball at BHCC, MCLA and Fitchburg State. Derrick Keyes (born September 19, 1969), known professionally as Nine, is an American rapper from The Bronx, New York City. He is also known as 9MM or Nine Double M. Keyes got his break in early 1993 as a featured guest on Funkmaster Flex and the Ghetto Celebs' "Six Million Ways to Die". Snak the Ripper is a Canadian rapper from British Columbia. Affiliations Snak the Ripper is one of the founding members of the Stompdown Killaz hip hop collective (SDK). As of 2018 Snak is no longer affiliated with SDK. In 2010, he became a member of 100MAD (hip hop collective founded by Fredro Starr and Sticky Fingaz of New York City rap group Onyx). OuterSpace
OuterSpace is an underground hip hop duo from North Philadelphia. Originally a trio consisting of three Puerto Rican friends that then took the artist names Planetary, Jedeye and Crypt the Warchild. The founding member Mario Collazo (Planetary) was then attending 10th grade, while the other two, Richard Cruz (Jedeye) and Marcus Albaladejo (Crypt the Warchild), were in 8th grade. Reef The Lost Cauze
Sharif Talib Lacey, better known by his stage name Reef the Lost Cauze, is an underground hip hop artist based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
