Snake Catcher (russian: Змеелов, Zmeelov) is a 1985 Soviet drama film directed by Vadim Derbenyov. Plot The film tells about the former director of a large Moscow deli who ended up in a strict regime colony, and after leaving this began to fight criminals. Galina Polskikh
Galina Polskikh (Гали́на Алекса́ндровна По́льских, born 27 November 1939) is a Soviet film actress. She has appeared in more than 100 films since 1962. In 1979 she was awarded the title of People's Artist of Russia, and in 1999 - Order of Honour (fourth degree). Polskikh became famous after playing lead roles in such Soviet films as ''Walking the Streets of Moscow'' (1962), '' The Journalist'' (1967) and ''Expectations'' (1966). Acting career Polskikh was born in Moscow in a poor family. Her father was killed during World War II, and her mother died of typhoid fever several years later. The 8-year-old girl was taken to an orphan asylum where she spent several months before her grandmother, who worked as a janitor, took her to her place. They lived in abject poverty in a small room in a basement floor of a many-storied building. Department Against Misappropriation of Socialist Property (shortly The OBKhSS, russian: Отдел по борьбе с хищениями социалистической собственности, ОБХСС) was the Soviet financial police. It was responsible for the regulation of economic laws fight against theft of property in the organizations and institutions of state commerce, consumer, industrial and individual co-operatives, savings banks and procurement agencies, as well as to fight against speculation. Alexander Victorovich Fedorov (russian: Александр Викторович Фёдоров; born November 4, 1954) is a Russian scientist, teacher, media education specialist, film critic. He completed his Ph.D. dissertation about media education (1993) at the Russian Academy of Education (Moscow). Biography He was the president of the Russian Association for Film and Media Education (2003-2014) and deputy director of the Anton Chekhov Taganrog Institute (Russia) (2005-2018) and main editor of journal "Media Education" (‘Mediaobrazovanie’). He is also a member of the Russian Academy of Film Arts and Science, Russian Union of Filmmakers, CIFEJ and FIPRESCI. Igor Starygin
Igor Vladimirovich Starygin (Russian:''Игорь Владимирович Старыгин'', 13 June 1946 in Moscow – 8 November 2009 in Moscow) was a Soviet and Russian stage and film actor. An alumnus of the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts, Starygin had more than 40 roles in films and is most known for the role of Aramis in ''D'Artagnan and Three Musketeers'' (1979) and its sequels (1992, 1993, 2007). He had another famous role in the TV series '' The State Border'' (1980s). Starygin also performed with the Moscow Art Theatre and the Theatre of Mossovet. He died, aged 63, on 8 November 2009 in Moscow from complications of a stroke. Starygin was buried at Troyekurovskoye Cemetery.
