The Slovenian Association of Actuaries ( sl, Slovensko aktuarsko društvo) is the association of actuaries in Slovenia. The association was founded on 30 January 1997. It is a full member of the International Actuarial Association and the Groupe Consultatif The Actuarial Association of Europe (AAE) was established in 1978 as Groupe Consultatif des Associations d'Actuaires des Pays des Communautés Européennes (GC)renamedto Groupe Consultatif Actuariel Européen in 2002, angiven its present nameon Ja .... The International Actuarial Association (IAA) is a worldwide association of local professional actuarial associations. History The IAA is the continuation of the ''Comité Permanent des Congrès d’Actuaires'', established in 1895, as an association of individuals. It was renamed the IAA in 1968. At the 26th International Congress of Actuaries, held in Birmingham on 7–12 June 1998, the General Assembly of the International Actuarial Association restructured itself. The restructure created a single unified framework to ensure unity of direction and efficient coordination with respect to issues of a worldwide nature. Groupe Consultatif
The Actuarial Association of Europe (AAE) was established in 1978 as Groupe Consultatif des Associations d'Actuaires des Pays des Communautés Européennes (GC)renamedto Groupe Consultatif Actuariel Européen in 2002, angiven its present nameon January 1, 2014. Its purpose is to provide advice and opinions to the various organisations of the European Union – the Commission, the Council of Ministers, the European Parliament, EIOPA and their various committees – on actuarial issues in European legislation. The AAE currently has 37 member associations in 35 European countries, representing over 20,000 actuaries.
