Radiotelevizija Slovenija ( en, Radio-Television of Slovenia) – usually abbreviated to RTV Slovenija (or simply RTV within Slovenia) – is Slovenia's national public broadcasting organization. Based in Ljubljana, it has regional broadcasting centres in Koper and Maribor and correspondents around Slovenia, Europe, and the world. No One (Maja Keuc Song)
Slovenia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "No One" written by Matjaž Vlašič and Urša Vlašič. The song was performed by Maja Keuc. Slovenian broadcaster Radiotelevizija Slovenija (RTV Slovenija) organised the national final ''EMA 2011'' in order to select the Slovenian entry for the 2011 contest in Düsseldorf, Germany. Ten entries competed in the national final where the winner was selected over two rounds of voting. In the first round, the top two entries were selected by a three-member jury panel. In the second round, "Vanilija" performed by Maja Keuc was selected as the winner entirely by a public vote. The song was later translated from Slovene to English for the Eurovision Song Contest and was titled "No One". Martina Majerle (born 2 May 1980) is a Croatian singer of mixed Croatian and Slovenian descent. Majerle represented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, Russia with the string quartet Quartissimo with the song "Love Symphony". Quartissimo is a Slovenian string quartet featuring Žiga Cerar on first violin, Matjaž Bogataj on second violin, Luka Dukarić on viola, and Samo Dervišić on cello. The group's name is a portmanteau of quartet and the Italian suffix -issimo, which means extremely (e.g., ''fortissimo'', ''prestissimo''). Alenka Gotar is a Slovene soprano singer, born in Rodica, Domžale, Rodica in 1977. With the song "Cvet z juga" ("Flower of the South"), she represented Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki, Finland. Anžej Dežan (born 17 June 1987) is a Slovenian singer. Biography Anžej began his musical career by winning the TV show ''Karaoke'' only ten years old. His first major success though was in the 2005 talent show ''Spet Doma'' on RTV Slovenija, where he was the runner-up (beaten by Omar Naber, who got to represent Slovenia in Eurovision Song Contest 2005). His growing potential was recognised by the successful composers and lyricists Urša and Matjaž Vlašič and Boštjan Grabnar, who became Anžej's creative team.
