"Slo-Mo-Tion" is a song by American Rock music, rock band Marilyn Manson (band), Marilyn Manson. The song serves as the second single and is also the fifth track from their eighth full-length studio album ''Born Villain''. The title of the song was revealed when Marilyn Manson appeared on That Metal Show in December 2011. The song was first released on May 1, 2012 along with the ''Born Villain'' album, and was officially released as the album's second single worldwide August 13, 2012. An Extended play, EP of remixes was released in Canada via Dine Alone Records on November 6, 2012. ''Born Villain'' is the eighth studio album by American rock band Marilyn Manson. It was released on April 25, 2012 by Cooking Vinyl and Marilyn Manson's independent record label Hell, etc. It was the band's first release since the departure of Ginger Fish, who had been their drummer since 1995, and was their only album to feature Fred Sablan. The record was co-produced by the band's eponymous vocalist alongside former Nine Inch Nails member Chris Vrenna, who left shortly after its completion to focus on other production work. Manson was more involved in the album's composition than he was on preceding releases. It is primarily a heavy metal record, and, at the time of its release, contained some of the heaviest material the band had ever recorded.
