Gregory Skyler Taylor (born December 24, 1982), known professionally as Skyzoo, is an American Songwriter and rapper. He has released a number of notable solo and collaborative albums, including '' Cloud 9: The 3 Day High'' with 9th Wonder in 2006, '' The Salvation (album), The Salvation'' in 2009, '' A Dream Deferred'' in 2012, '' Music For My Friends'' in 2015, and his most recent solo album ''All the Brilliant Things''. ''The Salvation'' is the debut solo studio album by American rapper Skyzoo. It was released on September 29, 2009, via Jamla Records and Duck Down Music. Hip hop production, Production was handled by 9th Wonder, Cyrus Tha Great, Eric G., Nottz, Best Kept Secret (production team), Best Kept Secret, Black Milk, Illmind, Just Blaze and Needlz. It features guest appearance from Carlitta Durand. Ramon Ibanga, Jr. (born August 28, 1980), known professionally as Illmind (often stylized as !llmind), is an American record producer, songwriter, and educator. As of 2012, he lives in Brooklyn, New York. Illmind has co-written and produced hip hop, trap, pop, soul, and electronic music for labels such as Cash Money, Def Jam, and Aftermath, and has worked with artists such as Nicki Minaj, Andy Mineo, Kanye West, Drake, J. ''A Dream Deferred'' is the second studio album of Brooklyn rapper Skyzoo. The album was released on October 23, 2012. The album met with a largely positive critical response, earning 86/100 from Metacritic. It is one of Skyzoo's best charting albums, reaching No. 7 on the Top Heatseekers chart, No. 191 on the Billboard 200, No. 25 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums , No. 18 on Top Rap Albums, and No. 40 on the Independent Albums chart. Production and release The album was originally scheduled for release on September 18, 2012, but it got pushed back to October 2, 2012.
