Skjorta is a mountain in the municipality of Molde in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The mountain is located southeast of the Eresfjorden, north of the lake Eikesdalsvatnet and the mountain Fløtatinden, east of the Eira River and the village of Eresfjord, and west of the municipal border with Sunndal. From the summit, there is a view of the Mardalsfossen waterfall, about to the south. Eira River
Eira is a river in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The long river flows from the lake Eikesdalsvatnet past the village of Eresfjord and into the Eresfjorden. The mountain Skjorta lies east of the river. Historically, the river was a bountiful salmon fishing area, but since it has become a regulated river for nearby hydro-electric power stations, the fish have not been as plentiful. Fløtatinden (also called ''Trondskjortetinden'') is a mountain in the municipality of Molde in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The summit is a popular ski destination, accessed from the east. The mountain is located on the eastern shore of the lake Eikesdalsvatnet, and it has a view towards the Mardalsfossen waterfall in the south and the mountain Skjorta in the north. Eresfjord
Eresfjord is a village in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. Approximately 450 inhabitants reside in the village (2008). The village is located along the river Eira between the Eresfjorden and the lake Eikesdalsvatnet. The mountain Skjorta lies just to the east of the village. The village of Myklebostad lies about to the northwest through the Vistdal valley and the village of Boggestranda lies about to the north. The village was the administrative center of the former municipality of Eresfjord og Vistdal from 1890 until 1964 when it was merged back into Nesset. Sira Church which was opened in 1869, is the main church for the area, and it is located in the middle of Eresfjord. Agriculture, salmon fishing, and tourism are the main form of income in the area. Molde () is a town and municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Romsdal. It is located on the Romsdal Peninsula, surrounding the Fannefjord and Moldefjord. Eresfjorden
Eresfjorden is a fjord in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is a long branch off of the main Langfjorden, which is itself a branch off the great Romsdal Fjord. The fjord begins at the mouth of the Eira River near the village of Eresfjord, and then it flows north to meet the Langfjorden near the villages of Eidsvåg and Boggestranda. Just before 8:00 p.m. on 22 February 1756, a landslide with a volume of — the largest known landslide in Norway in historic time — traveled at high speed from a height of on the side of the mountain Tjellafjellet into the Langfjorden about west of Tjelle and between Tjelle and Gramsgrø. The slide generated three megatsunamis in the Langfjorden and the Eresfjorden with heights of . Eikesdalsvatnet
Eikesdalsvatnet is a lake in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The lake is long and narrow, roughly in length, and it is the largest lake in Møre og Romsdal county. The village of Eikesdalen is located at the southern end of the lake.
