Kågen
or is an island in Skjervøy Municipality in Troms county, Norway. The island lies between the Kvænangen fjord (to the east) and the Lyngen fjord to the west. The island is home to 27 inhabitants (2001). The island is mountainous with several peaks over above sea level. The highest point is the tall mountain ''Store Kågtind''. Kågen is the 52nd largest island in Norway. Skjervøy Church
Skjervøy Church () is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Skjervøy Municipality in Troms county, Norway. It is located in the village of village of Skjervøy on the island of Skjervøya. It is the main church for the Skjervøy parish which is part of the Nord-Troms prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. The white, wooden church was built in 1728 to replace an older church building. It is the oldest preserved wooden church in the whole diocese, so it is a protected historic site. It was designed by the architect Hans Michelsen in a combination of the common long church style and cruciform style. The church seats about 225 people. History The earliest existing historical records of the church date back to the year 1589, but the church was not new that year. Reisafjorden (Nordreisa)
, , or is a fjord in Troms county, Norway. It is located mostly in Nordreisa Municipality (with very small portions of the fjord in Kvænangen Municipality and Skjervøy Municipality). The long fjord is an arm off the main Kvænangen fjord. The fjord is fed by the river Reisaelva which flows through the long Reisadalen valley which starts inside Reisa National Park. The villages of Storslett and Sørkjosen are both located along the southern shore of the fjord. The European route E06 highway runs along the shore of the inner part of the fjord. , , or (sometimes anglicized as the ''Kvænang Fjord'') is a fjord in Troms county, Norway. The fjord runs through Skjervøy Municipality and Kvænangen Municipality. Geography The long fjord stretches from the Norwegian Sea to the village of Kvænangsbotn. The Reisafjorden is a large fjord which branches off the Kvænangen fjord to the west and the Badderfjorden branches off to the east. The European route E06 highway crosses the fjord on the Sørstraumen Bridge where the fjord is only about wide, just west of the village of Sekkemo. There are a number of islands in the fjord. On the west side of the fjord are the islands of Arnøya, Laukøya, Skjervøya, and Kågen. The smaller islands of Haukøya, Rødøya, Skorpa, Nøklan, and Spildra are located in the middle of the fjord.
