Skjervøya
or is an island in Skjervøy Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The island lies to the east of the island of Kågen and south of the island of Laukøya. The Kvænangen fjord lies to the east of the island. The village of Skjervøy is the main population centre on the island (and it is the administrative centre of the whole municipality). Fishing is one of the main industries on the island. Skjervøya is connected to the mainland by a bridge and then a tunnel. The Skjervøy Bridge connects the island to Kågen island to the west. Kågen
or is an island in Skjervøy Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The island lies between the Kvænangen fjord (to the east) and the Lyngen fjord to the west. The island is home to 27 inhabitants (2001). The island is mountainous with several peaks over above sea level. The highest point is the tall mountain ''Store Kågtind''. Kågen is the 52nd largest island in Norway. There is a ferry connection with the neighboring islands of Arnøya and Laukøya to the north, the Skjervøy Bridge connects to the island Skjervøya to the east, and the undersea Maursund Tunnel connects the island to the mainland to the south. The island of Arnøya is immediately to the west of Laukøya, the Kvænangen fjord lies to the east, and the islands of Kågen and Skjervøya lie to the south. There is a regular ferry connection between Laukøya, Kågen, and Arnøya, but no road connections. Kvænangen (fjord)
, , or (sometimes anglicized as the ''Kvænang Fjord'') is a fjord in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The fjord runs through Skjervøy Municipality and Kvænangen Municipality. Geography The long fjord stretches from the Norwegian Sea to the village of Kvænangsbotn. The Reisafjorden (Nordreisa), Reisafjorden is a large fjord which branches off the Kvænangen fjord to the west and the Badderfjorden branches off to the east. The European route E06 highway crosses the fjord on the Sørstraumen Bridge where the fjord is only about wide, just west of the village of Sekkemo. There are a number of islands in the fjord. On the west side of the fjord are the islands of Arnøya, Laukøya, Skjervøya, and Kågen.
