Sjisjka, (Swedish) also spelt Sjiska or Šišká (North Sami), is a locality in Kiruna Municipality, Sweden. It has a railway station on the Iron Ore Line 20 km south of Kiruna, between Kalixforsbron and Kaitum. The hamlet has eight buildings. Nature reserve Taking the train to Sjisjka is the only way to enter the Kaitum Fjällurskog Nature Reserve apart from hiking or skiing. A footpath leads west from Sjisjka to Tjåurek and from there one can go on to Nikkaluokta, Laukkuluspa, Holmajärvi, Liettik or to Kaitum, which is slightly south of Sjisjka at the railway. There is no road to the railway station or the village. The nearest roads are in Kaitum and Kalixforsbron, each about 10 km away. A wind turbine is a device that converts the kinetic energy of wind into electrical energy. SJ (formally ''SJ AB'') is a government-owned passenger train operator in Sweden. SJ was created in 2001, out of the public transport division of ''Statens Järnvägar'', when the former government agency was divided into six separate government-owned limited companies. In 2018 SJ carried 31.8 million passengers. Overview SJ's operations fall broadly into subsidised and unsubsidised services. The unsubsidised services was until 2011 monopoly. The subsidised trains are awarded through competitive bids. However, some trains fall in between these categories, since public transit agencies can pay SJ to allow transit pass holders access to SJ's trains. Norrtåg (English: Northern Trains) is a publicly owned company which is owned by Norrbotten County, Västerbotten County, Västernorrland County and Jämtland County in Sweden. The company owns passenger trains and organises passenger train operation. Norrtåg controls ticket sales and contracts an operator which handles actual train operation (staff and permits). The trains are operated under the brand name Norrtåg. Norrtåg started operation in 2010 on the brand new railway Botniabanan, and in 2011 it took over the until then branded Mittnabotåget services. Swedish State Railways
The Swedish State Railways ( sv, Statens Järnvägar) or SJ, originally the Royal Railway Board ( sv, Kungl. Järnvägsstyrelsen), was the former government agency responsible for operating the state-owned railways in Sweden. It was created in 1887 as an agency belonging to the Ministry for Civil Service Affairs, with the task of managing all state-owned railway lines in Sweden, and was transferred to the Ministry of Communications in 1920.
