Sivutsa Stars was a South African football club based in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga that played in the National First Division. Founded in 2009, Stars managed promotion to the National First Division in 2011 by finishing second at the Vodacom League play-offs. Kabokweni Stadium is a multi-use stadium in the Kabokweni village, situated next to Elijah Mango College around 4km NorthEast of Kruger Airport, which is roughly 30km NorthEast of Nelspruit, in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. The stadium received a major upgrade in January-May 2010. Currently, and throughout its previous history, the stadium is used mostly for local events and football matches. Duncan Thaane Lechesa (born 26 July 1976) is a retired South African football player who is currently the head coach of National First Division team F.C. Cape Town. Career In a 15-year career, Lechesa played as a central midfielder for Bloemfontein Celtic, Ajax Cape Town, Black Leopards and Free State Stars before retiring in 2010. Born in Bloemfontein, Free State, Lechesa began playing football with Bloemfontein Celtic's youth sides before signing with National First Division club Bloemfontein Young Tigers. The ABC Motsepe League, previously known as the Vodacom League between 1998 and 2012, was founded in 1998 as the current Second Division and the overall third tier of South African football. The competition is regulated by SAFA, and until 2012 had been sponsored by mobile telecommunications company Vodacom. It features 144 teams in total, divided into 9 divisions, borders decided by the 9 geo-political provinces of South Africa: Eastern Cape, Free State, KwaZulu Natal, Northern Cape, Western Cape, Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and North West.
