Siviwe Gwarube
Siviwe Gwarube (born 14 July 1989) is a South African politician who has served as the Chief Whip of the Official Opposition since August 2022. She has been a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa since May 2019. She was the Shadow Minister of Health from June 2019 until February 2022, the National Spokesperson of the Democratic Alliance from November 2020 until August 2022 and the Deputy Chief Whip of the Official Opposition from December 2021 until August 2022. Early life and education Gwarube was born in KwaMdingi, King William's Town. She was raised by her grandmother. She attended Kingsridge High School for Girls. Angel Khanyile
Thembisile Angel Khanyile (born 12 August 1982) is a South African politician who is a member of the National Assembly of South Africa representing the Democratic Alliance. She is currently the Shadow Minister of Home Affairs. Khanyile had previously served as the Shadow Deputy Minister of Home Affairs. Political career Khanyile joined the Democratic Alliance in 2014 as an ordinary member. She served as a councillor in the Lekwa Local Municipality before she was appointed to parliament. Chris Hunsinger
Chris Hunsinger (born 23 October 1962) is a South African politician, a Member of the South African Parliament since 2014, Caucus Whip and Treasurer with the Democratic Alliance (South Africa). He was appointed by the then Leader of the Opposition Mmusi Maimane on 5 June 2019 and retained by the current Leader of the Opposition John Steenhuisen in October 2019 and again in December 2020, as The Shadow Minister of Transport. Lindiwe Mazibuko
Lindiwe Mazibuko (born 9 April 1980) is a Swazi-born South African academic, former politician, musician and the former leader of the Official Opposition Democratic Alliance (DA). She was elected DA Parliamentary Leader on 27 October 2011, beating incumbent Athol Trollip in a tight race, becoming the first non-white person to lead the Democratic Alliance in Parliament. Mazibuko resigned from her position as a member of the Official Opposition in 2014, to study at Harvard University in the United States for a year. She stated that her resignation had nothing to do with differences within the DA, but that it would improve what she could offer the party politically.
