Siphesihle Ndlovu
Siphesihle Ndlovu (born 30 September 1996) is a South African professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Premier Soccer League side Orlando Pirates and the South Africa national team. An academy graduate of Maritzburg United, he made his professional debut in 2016 and went on to make over 80 appearances for the club. During the 2017–18 season, he helped the club to record-high fourth-place finish in the league and was rewarded for his form with the Young Player of the Season award. At the end of the following season, he joined Orlando Pirates. He is a fan favorite in Pietermaritzburg and his nickname is Mbesuma. Ndlovu is also a full international since March 2018 and has represented South Africa at a COSAFA Cup. In the sport of association football, fouls and misconduct are acts committed by players which are deemed by the referee to be unfair and are subsequently penalised. Mamelodi, part of the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality, is a township set up by the then apartheid government northeast of Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa. In professional football, a transfer is the action taken whenever a player under contract moves between clubs. It refers to the transferring of a player's registration from one association football club to another. In general, the players can only be transferred during a transfer window and according to the rules set by a governing body (fulfilling the requirements of FIFA, continental and national bodies regulating the purchasing and selling clubs). A negotiated transfer fee is agreed financial compensation paid from an interested club, to the club that possesses the player's exclusive contracted playing rights. The 2017–18 South African Premier Division season (known as the ABSA Premiership for sponsorship reasons) is the 22nd season of the Premier Soccer League since its conception in 1996. Fadluraghman "Fadlu" Davids (born 21 May 1981 in Cape Town, Western Cape) is a retired South African football (soccer) striker who last played for Premier Soccer League club Maritzburg United. He was twice the highest goalscorer in the South African National First Division. Since his retirement in 2012 Davids has served as assistant coach to Ernst Middendorp at Maritzburg United.
