Premier Soccer League
Premier is a title for the head of government in central governments, state governments and local governments of some countries. A second in command to a premier is designated as a deputy premier. A premier will normally be a head of government, but is not the head of state. In presidential systems, the two roles are often combined into one, whereas in parliamentary systems of government the two are usually kept separate. Musa Otieno
Musa Otieno (born 29 December 1973 in Nairobi) is a Kenyan former footballer. Career Club Otieno has enjoyed an illustrious career on his native continent, playing for AFC Leopards and Tusker FC in Kenya, and from 1997 until 2011 for Santos in the South African Premier Soccer League. He helped them win the PSL title in 2001-02, the Bob Save Super Bowl in 2001, the BP Top 8in 2002, and the ABSA Cup in 2003. Otieno first came to the United States in 2008, playing a season on loan with the Cleveland City Stars in the USL Second Division. He made his debut for the Stars on 4 July 2008, as a 64th-minute substitute for Mark Schulte, and went on to make seven appearances, scoring one goal, and helping them to the USL2 title. Lebohang Kgosana Maboe (born 17 September 1994) is a South African professional soccer player who plays as an attacking midfielder or forward for South African Premier Division club Mamelodi Sundowns and the South African national team. Siphesihle Ndlovu
Siphesihle Ndlovu (born 30 September 1996) is a South African professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Premier Soccer League side Orlando Pirates and the South Africa national team. An academy graduate of Maritzburg United, he made his professional debut in 2016 and went on to make over 80 appearances for the club. During the 2017–18 season, he helped the club to record-high fourth-place finish in the league and was rewarded for his form with the Young Player of the Season award. Surprise Mohlomolleng Moriri (born 20 March 1980 in Matibidi, Mpumalanga) is a South African former professional footballer who used to play as a midfielder or striker. He has also represented South Africa internationally and has amassed 34 caps since his debut in 2003. Club career Moriri is a free-scoring midfielder who was chosen as South Africa's PSL Player of the Season in 2005–06. Daine Klate (born 25 January 1985) is a retired South African football midfielder born in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. Cedric "Sugar Ray" Xulu (13 December 1939 – 4 May 2020) was a South African footballer. Career Xulu was a footballer whose career in the 1960s led him to play for local side AmaZulu and Mbabane Swallows in Swaziland. The National First Division (NFD), officially known as the Motsepe Foundation Championship for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest league of South African club association football, football after the South African Premier Division. Both the NFD and South African Premier Division are organised by the Premier Soccer League. Structure and rules Seasons 2007–2011 The restructured NFD was divided into two streams, one inland and another coastal – each of which consisted of 8 teams. The winners of the two streams played against each other in a 'final' at the end of the season – the winner of which was promoted to the PSL. Thembinkosi Lorch (born 22 July 1993) is a South African professional soccer player who plays as an attacking midfielder for Orlando Pirates and the South African national team. Percy Tau
Percy Muzi Tau (born 13 May 1994) is a South African professional soccer player who plays for Egyptian Premier League club Al Ahly SC as a forward and the South African national team. Tau began his footballing career with Premier Soccer League side Mamelodi Sundowns where he made 100 appearances either side of a loan to Witbank Spurs.
