It collects ten tracks originally released between 1979 and 1982 as part of four non-album singles. Azra
Azra was a Croatian and Yugoslav rock band that was one of the most popular acts of the Yugoslav new wave music of the 1980s. Azra was formed in 1977 by its frontman Branimir "Johnny" Štulić. The other two members of the original line-up were Mišo Hrnjak ( bass) and Boris Leiner (drums). The band is named after a verse "''Und der Sklave sprach: “Ich heiße Mohamet, ich bin aus Yemen, Und mein Stamm sind jene Asra, Welche sterben, wenn sie lieben.”''" (trans. ''Ravno do dna'' is a live album of the Yugoslavian rock band Azra, released through Jugoton in 1982 on triple album, triple vinyl. It was recorded in club Kulušić, Zagreb on October 21, 1981. ''Ravno do dna'' has been described as the best live album in the history of Yugoslav rock music. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. It is a plucked string instrument similar in appearance and construction to an electric or an acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and typically four to six strings or courses. Electric Guitar
An electric guitar is a guitar that requires external amplification in order to be heard at typical performance volumes, unlike a standard acoustic guitar (however combinations of the two - a semi-acoustic guitar and an electric acoustic guitar exist). Kad Fazani Lete
''Kad fazani lete'' is the fourth studio album of the rock band Azra, released through Jugoton in 1983. It was recorded in Germany without two original members Mišo Hrnjak and Boris Leiner, who went to serve compulsory military service. Leiner was replaced on drums by Srećko Antonioli, while Štulić played guitar and bass. In late 1982, Štulić presented his songs to Goran Bregović, who was supposed to produce the new album. However, the collaboration was later cancelled by Štulić. The album features a different sound of the band, closer to hard rock. Petar Luković, writing for '' Džuboks'' in 1983, noted that it "sounded completely different without Leiner and Hrnjak". Štulić described it as "a record for big stages and big concerts". Branimir Štulić
Branimir "Johnny" Štulić (born 11 April 1953) is a Yugoslav singer-songwriter, musician and author, best known for being the frontman of the popular Yugoslav rock group Azra. He is known for his charismatic stage performances and inspiring song lyrics that often combined rock poetry with a strong sense for social commentary, which is the cause for his becoming a cult figure. Early life Štulić was born on 11 April 1953, in Skopje, where his mother Slavica (née Milovac) and father Ivan Štulić–an officer in the Yugoslav People's Army–were stationed at the time. His paternal Croatian family originates from Nin, being one of the oldest families from the town. At the age of seven, Štulić moved with his family to Jastrebarsko.
