Simonetta Moro
Simonetta Moro (born December 31, 1970) is an artist and educator, best known for her drawings, prints, paintings, and mappings that depict the flow of change, landmasses, the depth of history, and psychological states or memory. Moving to New York City in 2003, she took a teaching position at The New School in Manhattan, and developed their art program. In 2010, she became the director of the PhD program at IDSVA, Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts. The New School
The New School is a private research university in New York City. It was founded in 1919 as The New School for Social Research with an original mission dedicated to academic freedom and intellectual inquiry and a home for progressive thinkers. Skowhegan () is the county seat of Somerset County, Maine. As of the 2020 census, the town population was 8,620. Every August, Skowhegan hosts the annual Skowhegan State Fair, the oldest continuously-held state fair in the United States.
