Simon Piesinger
Simon Piesinger (born 13 May 1992) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Austrian Bundesliga club Wolfsberger AC. Club career Piesinger, whose father is former professional footballer Gerald Piesinger, started playing football with his twin brother Markus at SK St. Magdalena. From 2006 to 2010, he played for the Football Academy Linz and also for the youth teams of LASK. He then started his professional career with LASK Linz, LASK Linz Juniors playing in the Austrian Regional League. He afterwards moved to FC Blau-Weiß Linz, Blau-Weiß Linz to play in the Austrian Football First League. In the summer of 2012, he was transferred to Austrian Bundesliga side FC Wacker Innsbruck (2002), FC Wacker Innsbruck. On 10 July 2014, he signed with SK Sturm Graz. The Danish Superliga ( da, Superligaen, ) is the current Danish football championship tournament, and administered by the Danish Football Association. It is the highest football league in Denmark and is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with two teams relegated. History Founded in 1991, the Danish Superliga replaced the Danish 1st Division as the highest league of football in Denmark. From the start in 1991, 10 teams were participating. The opening Superliga season was played during the spring of 1991, with the ten teams playing each other twice for the championship title. The 2020–21 Danish Cup, also known as Sydbank Pokalen, was the 67th season of the Danish Cup competition. Randers defeated SønderjyskE in the final of the competition on 13 May 2021. As the winner of the tournament, Randers earned qualification into the play-off round of the 2021–22 UEFA Europa League. Erik Marxen (born 2 December 1990) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Danish Superliga club Nordsjælland. Career Vejle Marxen was born in Middelfart. He began his career in the youth academy of the local club Middelfart G&BK where he played alongside the likes of Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Falk. He eventually joined Vejle Boldklub, and made his professional debut on 13 April 2009 in a 4–1 loss in the Danish Superliga to FC Copenhagen. He came on as a late substitute for Marc Pedersen. On 10 June 2009, he signed a contract until 2011 which promoted him to the first team. Thomas Thomasberg (born 15 October 1974) is a Danish professional football manager and former player, who is the current head coach of Danish Superliga club Randers FC. Playing career As a youth player, Thomasberg played for hometown club Haverslev IF as well as Aars IK, before joining AaB in 1991. He made his debut for the first team only in 1994, after having played for the reserves in the fourth-tier Denmark Series for a number of seasons. Thomasberg played for AaB until 1999, after which he moved to FC Midtjylland. He won the Danish Superliga championship as a player with AaB in both the 1994–95 and 1998–99 seasons. Aarhus Stadium (Danish: Aarhus Stadion) is an association football stadium in Aarhus, Denmark which has been the home ground of Aarhus Gymnastikforening since the 1920s.
