Silviya Miteva
Silvia Dimitrova Miteva ( bg, Силвия Димитрова Митева; born 24 June 1986 in Rousse) is a retired Bulgarian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2013 Grand Prix Final all-around bronze medalist. Career Miteva was coached by her mother Silvia Divcheva-Miteva, who was a rhythmic gymnast for Bulgaria in the 1980s. She was a European and world champion. Miteva's father, Dimitar Mitev, is a Brevet judge and junior men's national coach in artistic gymnastics. Miteva has been competing for the Bulgaria national team since 2001 and was one of the first players not based in Sofia to make her breakthrough at the time. Miteva made her international debut in 2003 and competed a total of four world championships. Rousse
Ruse (also transliterated as Rousse, Russe; bg, Русе ) is the fifth largest city in Bulgaria. Rhythmic Gymnastics
Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport in which gymnasts perform on a floor with an apparatus: hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon. The sport combines elements of gymnastics, dance and calisthenics; gymnasts must be strong, flexible, agile, dexterous and coordinated. Rhythmic gymnastics is governed by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), which first recognized it as a sport in 1963. It became an Olympic sport in 1984, with an individual all-around event. The group all-around competition was added to the Olympics in 1996. At the international level, rhythmic gymnastics is a women-only sport. Son Yeon-jae KTM (born 28 May 1994) is a South Korean retired individual rhythmic gymnast. She is a former member of the South Korean national gymnastics team, based in Taereung, Seoul. She is the 2014 Asian Games All-around Champion, the 2010 Asian Games All-around bronze medalist, three-time (2016, 2015, 2013) Asian Championships All-around Champion. She is the first and only South Korean individual rhythmic gymnast to win a medal at the World Championships, FIG World Cup series, Universiade and the Asian Games. Neta Rivkin
Neta Rivkin ( he, נטע ריבקין; born June 19, 1991) is a retired Israeli individual rhythmic gymnast. She is one of Israel's most successful rhythmic gymnasts. A three-time Olympian, in 2011 she won the silver medal in clubs at the 2011 European Championships. That same year she also won a bronze medal in the individual hoop final at the 2011 World Championships. She won the all-around silver medal at the 2014 Grand Prix Final. Personal life Rivkin was born in Petah Tikva, Israel, to parents Veronica and Arkady who immigrated to Israel from St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1991. Career Rivkin was coached by Ella Samofalov. Yana Alexeyevna Kudryavtseva (russian: Я́на Алексе́евна Кудря́вцева; born 30 September 1997) is a retired Russian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2016 Olympic All-around silver medalist, three-time World Champion in the All-around (2013–2015), the 2015 European Games All-around champion, two-time (2014, 2016) European Championships All-around champion, the 2012 European Junior ball champion. 2013 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup Series
The 2013 FIG World Cup circuit in Rhythmic Gymnastics includes one category A event (Sofia) and seven category B events. Apart from Tartu, Bucharest and Corbeil-Essonnes (individuals only), all events include both individual and group competitions, with all-around competitions serving as qualifications for the finals by apparatus.
