Silvano Ippoliti
Silvano Ippoliti (24 January 1922 – 1994) was an Italian cinematographer. Born in Cagli, Ippoliti entered the cinema industry thanks to his sister Iria, employed at Cinecittà, who introduced him to Anchise Brizzi, at the time the chief of the operators department.Stefano Masi, ''Dizionario mondiale dei direttori della fotografia'', Le Mani, 2007, pp. 428-429. . The cinematographer or director of photography (sometimes shortened to DP or DOP) is the person responsible for the photographing or recording of a film, television production, music video or other live action piece. Jacques Deray
Jacques Deray (born Jacques Desrayaud; 19 February 1929 – 9 August 2003) was a French film director and screenwriter. Deray is prominently known for directing many crime and thriller films. Biography Born Jacques Desrayaud in Lyon, France, in 1929 to a family of Lyon industrialists. At the age of 19 he went to Paris to study drama under René Simon. Deray played minor roles on the stage and in films from the age of 19. From 1952, Deray worked as assistant to a number of directors, including Luis Buñuel, Gilles Grangier, Jules Dassin, and Jean Boyer. Deray's first film was the drama '' Le Gigolo'' released in 1960. Deray was fascinated by American film noir and began to focus on crime stories. Deray's early work includes ''Du rififi à Tokyo'', an homage to Jules Dassin's ''Rififi''. Emidio Greco
Emidio Greco (20 October 1938 – 22 December 2012) was an Italian film director and screenwriter, best known for the 1974 film ''Morel's Invention''. Life and career Born in Leporano, in the province of Taranto, Greco moved in Turin as a child. In 1964 he graduated at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, then, two years later, he started an activity as documentarist for RAI TV. In 1971 he attended Roberto Rossellini accompanying him in Chile for a filmed interview with Salvador Allende. In 1974 Greco made his directorial debut in a feature film with ''Morel's Invention'' that, well-received from critics, marked him as a real promise in Italian art cinema. Riccardo Freda (24 February 1909 – 20 December 1999) was an Italian film director. He worked in a variety of genres, including sword-and-sandal, horror film, horror, ''giallo'' and spy films. Sergio Corbucci (; 6 December 1926 – 1 December 1990) was an Italian film director, screenwriter and producer. He directed both very violent Spaghetti Westerns and bloodless Bud Spencer and Terence Hill action comedies. He is the older brother of screenwriter and film director Bruno Corbucci. Cagli
Cagli is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Pesaro e Urbino, Marche, central Italy. It c. south of Urbino. The Burano flows near the town. History Cagli occupies the site of an ancient village on the Via Flaminia, which seems to have borne the name Cale, or Callium north of Helvillum (now Sigillo) and southwest of Forum Sempronii (now Fossombrone). In the 6th century it was one of the strongholds of the Byzantine Pentapolis. A free commune was founded in Cagli at the end of the 12th century, and it quickly subdued more than 52 surrounding castles, overthrowing the rural lords and threatening the feudal powers of the abbots. Its expansion established the borders of the diocese of Cagli.
