Silkstone (group)
Silkstone was a Dutch pop band that was established in 1996, by singer Niels Geusebroek and guitarist Frans van Essen. There were many changes in line-up of the band with various members that included earlier on Daniel van Luipen (bass), Paul van Twisk (keyboards), Boxie van Gerrisheim and Jeroen Vrolijk (drums). After initial limited success, they were picked up by Sony BMG that signed them in 2001. Their debut single "Ready" gained heavy play on Dutch radio becoming their first charting hit. Soon followed their debut album ''What's the Reason'' that was released on Sony in 2003 and sold more than 15,000 copies. In addition to singer Geusebroek and guitarist van Essen, the line-up of Silkstone now included Niels Bik (drums), Dave Besse (bass) and Marco Kuypers (keyboards). The band toured in Europe and notably the States and Russia. Pop Music

Niels Geusebroek
Niels Geusebroek (; born 4 August 1979) is a Dutch singer and songwriter. In Silkstone In 1996, he formed the Dutch pop group Silkstone becoming the vocalist of the band in partnership with guitar player Frans van Essen. There were many changes in line-up with various members that included earlier on Daniel van Luipen (bass), Paul van Twisk (keyboards), Boxie van Gerrisheim and Jeroen Vrolijk (drums). At later stages, the band was composed of Geusbroek and van Essen, in addition to the new line-up of Niels Bik (drums), Dave Besse (bass) and Marco Kuypers (keyboards). After initial success, the band signed with BMG releasing two albums, ''What's the Reason'' in 2003 and ''Here in Your World'' in 2008. Various hit singles by Silkstone included "Ready", "Rain Has Come" and "Blue X-mas" all in 2002, "What's the Reason" and "Lost" in 2003 and "Here in Your World" in 2008. ''The Voice of Holland (season 2)'' was the second season of the Dutch reality singing competition, created by media tycoon John de Mol and the first sophomore season ever of the show's format. It was aired from September 2011 to January 2012 on RTL4. One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents in their group and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the auditioner. ''The Voice of Holland'', also known as ''TVOH'', is a Dutch reality TV singing competition, that became a near global TV format franchise, created by media tycoon John de Mol and musician Roel van Velzen, in the Netherlands airing on RTL 4. For the first nine seasons, The Voice of Holland was hosted by Martijn Krabbé and Wendy van Dijk. Starting from the tenth season (2019–2020), Wendy van Dijk was replaced by Chantal Janzen. The central focus of the show is the singing talent and quality of the contestants. Angela Groothuizen
Angela Groothuizen (born 28 September 1959) is a Dutch singer, artist and television personality. Her initial fame came as a member of the Dolly Dots. Biography Angela Groothuizen was born in Alkmaar, and has four brothers and sisters. She joined the band Howling Hurricane, of which one of her brothers was a member, and in 1978 they recorded a single, "Dreamt up Rock". That same year she was asked to join a newly formed girl group, and while she was more rock-oriented, she joined, and in 1979 the Dolly Dots were officially launched. Musical career The pop girl group Dolly Dots achieved popularity inside and outside the Netherlands, scoring hits between 1979 and 1988. Joram Metekohy (born 7 January 1983), better known by his stage name Wildstylez, is a Dutch hardstyle DJ and record producer. Having previously released hardstyle records under the alias 'Seizure', Joram Metekohy had his first solo release as Wildstylez in 2007 on the Scantraxx sub-label Scantraxx Reloaded. In 2010 he started the record label 'Digital:Age' in collaboration with Noisecontrollers. After he stopped releasing on 'Digital:Age', and its subsequent collapse, Wildstylez had a string of releases on Q-Dance Records and also released many tracks for free via social media. The Dutch Top 40 ( nl, Nederlandse Top 40) is a weekly music chart compiled by ''Stichting Nederlandse Top 40''. Cornelis Willem "Gordon" Heuckeroth (; born 6 July 1968), known simply as Gordon, is a Dutch singer and television personality. Internationally, he is best known for his membership of the supergroup the Toppers, which represented the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song " Shine".
