Signum Regis
Signum Regis is a Slovak power metal band, which was founded in 2007 by the bass player and songwriter Ronnie König. Despite often being labelled as a power metal band, their music can also be described as melodic metal with a focus on heavy, shredding guitars. Most of the Signum Regis band members were part of a metal band called ''Vindex'.'' History In 2007, Ronnie König founded the band Signum Regis and together with the vocalist Göran Edman they started working on a self-titled album, which was released the following year through Locomotive Records. In 2015, the band participated in the Spark Fresh Blood contest organised by the rock magazine ''Spark'', Budweiser Budvar and ''Bandzone.cz.'' After getting into the final 12, the band performed at the III.Finals Concert, which took place on November 14, 2015, in Liberec, Czech Republic. Senec ( hu, Szenc, ) is a town in the Bratislava Region of south-western Slovakia. The town is the administrative seat of the Senec District and its largest municipality. Magnus Karlsson (born 26 November 1973) is a Swedish heavy metal songwriter, guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and producer. He is currently a session musician and songwriter of the band Primal Fear, as well as for other projects like his own ''Free Fall''. Biography Magnus attended school to study classical guitar when he was 10 years old. He is most famous for being the former vocalist of symphonic power metal band Gloryhammer from 2011 to 2021, playing the roles of "Angus McFife, Prince of the Land of Fife" and his descendant "Angus McFife XIII" in the band's internal story. Manimal is a French death metal band from Toulouse, comprising members of Psykup, Leiden and Sailenth. Sacred Warrior is a Christian heavy metal band formed in 1988 and based in Chicago, Illinois. Their music is often compared to that of Queensrÿche or Iron Maiden. Background The band was formed out of a general market metal band known as Nomad, which formed in 1985. Subsequent to the conversion of guitarist Bruce Swift to Christianity, he led fellow band members Tony Velasquez and Rey Parra. He also converted Rick Macias, who had been a bouncer at a nightclub. Theocracy is an American Christian progressive power metal band founded in 2002 by Matt Smith of Athens, Georgia. They have released four albums and multiple Christmas singles. Background The group started as a one-man project with all the instruments and vocals on the debut album ''Theocracy'' performed by Smith.
