Adam Mikołaj Sieniawski (1666–1726) was a Polish nobleman, aristocrat and military leader. He was the son of Hetman Mikołaj Hieronim Sieniawski and Cecylia Maria Radziwiłł, daughter of Court and Grand Marshal Prince Aleksander Ludwik Radziwiłł. He married Elżbieta Lubomirska, daughter of Court and Grand Marshal Prince Stanisław Herakliusz Lubomirski, in 1687. Sieniawski was voivode (governor) of Bełz Voivodeship from 1692 to 1710, Field Crown Hetman since 1702, Great Crown Hetman since 1706, Castellan of Kraków since 1710 as well as starost of Lviv, Rohatyn, Lubaczów, Stryj and Piaseczno. Mikołaj Sieniawski
Mikołaj Sieniawski (c. 1489 – 1569) was a notable Polish magnate, military commander and a prominent politician of his times. He built stone Brzeżany Castle round which the modern town of Berezhany has developed. He is not to be confused with his descendant Mikołaj Hieronim Sieniawski, who was also a hetman in 1682 and 1683. Since 1539 Mikołaj Sieniawski served as a Field Hetman of the Crown and took part in most wars Poland was engaged in. Most notably he organized several successful raids to the area of the Ottoman Empire and Crimea. Majdan Sieniawski () is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Adamówka, within Przeworsk County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland. It lies approximately north-east of Adamówka, north-east of Przeworsk, and north-east of the regional capital Rzeszów. The village has a population of 1,600. History The village was founded in the 17th century. Initially it was called ''Dobropole'', however, it was soon renamed to ''Majdan Sieniawski'' after its founder, nobleman Mikołaj Sieniawski from the Sieniawski noble family. In 1835, August Czartoryski established an institute for poor elderly people in the village. In 1881, the village had a population of 2,442, overwhelmingly Catholic by confession.
