Sid Bennett is a film and television director, producer and writer. Career Sid Bennett has written, directed and produced over a hundred hours of mainstream TV programmes in the US, UK and worldwide. Prehistoric Park
''Prehistoric Park'' is a six-part nature docu-fiction television mini-series that premiered on ITV on 22 July 2006 and on Animal Planet on 29 October 2006. The programme was produced by Impossible Pictures, who also created ''Walking with Dinosaurs''. Each episode is an hour long including commercial breaks. ''Predator X'' is a 2009 television special on the cable television channel History. The show documents the excavation of a giant pliosaur on an island in the Norwegian Svalbard archipelago. The special follows Dr. Jørn Hurum and a team of paleontologists from the University of Oslo as they excavate the site. The specimen — claimed by Hurum at the time to be a new species — had not received a taxonomic classification by the time of the television special and was, therefore, codenamed " Predator X". The team initially called their discovery "The Monster", and the nickname has been used extensively by the media. The initial discovery was made in 2006, as part of a find of dozens of pliosaur and plesiosaur specimens. ''I Shouldn't Be Alive'' is a documentary television series made by Darlow Smithson Productions, a UK-based production company, that featured accounts of individuals or groups caught in life-threatening scenarios away from civilization in natural environments.
