Sibi Gwar
Sibi Gwar (born 9 September 1987 in Gboko) is a Nigerian soccer, football player who plays for Nasarawa United F.C. in the Nigeria Premier League. Early life Gwar hails from Gboko in Konshisha, Konshisha local government area of Benue State and attended the Government Secondary School, Gboko (1991–1998). Career He began his career with Ebonyi Angels F.C., Ebonyi Angels. After 1 year with Kwara State, Kwara he moved to Enyimba International F.C. in early 2008 and returned to Lobi in June 2008. After a successful season with Lobi Stars F.C., Lobi and winning the NFA Golden Boot, Gwar signed with his former club Kwara United F.C., Kwara United in 2009. At Kwara United FC he scored nine league goals. Benue State
Benue State is one of the North Central states in Nigeria with a population of about 4,253,641 in 2006 census. The state was created in 1976 among the 7 states created at that time.The state derives its name from the Benue River which is the second largest river in Nigeria. The state borders Nasarawa State to the North; Taraba State to the East; Kogi State to the West; Enugu State to the South-West; Ebonyi and Cross-Rivers States to the South; and has an international border with Cameroon to the South-East. Stephen Keshi
Stephen Okechukwu Keshi (23 January 1962 – 7 June 2016) was a Nigerian football player and manager. During his playing career, Keshi played as a defender and earned 60 caps for the Nigeria national team, making him the nation's second-most capped player at the time of his retirement. He represented the country at the 1994 FIFA World Cup and the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations, captaining the Super Eagles to victory in the latter. He also played club football in five countries, most notably Belgium, where he won the Belgian league championship with R.S.C. Anderlecht in 1991. As a manager, Keshi achieved success by qualifying Togo for the only FIFA World Cup appearance in its history in 2006. However, he left the position prior to the tournament and was replaced by Otto Pfister. He later coached his native Nigeria, where he became one of only two people, along with Egypt's Mahmoud El-Gohary, to have won the Africa Cup of Nations as both a player and a coach. Kwara United
Kwara United Football Club is a Nigerian football club based in Ilorin. They play in the top division in Nigerian football, the Nigeria Professional football League after promotion in 2017 from the Nigeria National League. Their home stadium is the Kwara State Stadium.
