Siavash Teimouri
Siavash Teimouri (Persian:سیاوش تیموری) (born 22 June 1937) is an Iranian architect, artist and scholar. Born in Tehran, Iran, he graduated from the College of Fine Arts, University of Tehran with the highest mark under the supervision of Hooshang Seyhoun. He was then granted a scholarship to pursue his education in France in 1962, where he studied at École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts and graduated with a Diploma of Architecture (DPLG) in 1969 under the supervision of Le Corbusier. He worked with world-class architects of his time and received the French Association Architects' Prize in 1967. He is a member of the French Society of Architects and the board of trustees of Iran's Architects' Association. During his time in France, he worked as draftsman and architect with renowned architects such as Roger Taillibert, Michel Marot, Georges Candilis, and Jean Frottier. Tehran
Tehran (; fa, تهران ) is the largest city in Tehran Province and the capital of Iran. With a population of around 9 million in the city and around 16 million in the larger metropolitan area of Greater Tehran, Tehran is the most populous city in Iran and Western Asia, and has the second-largest metropolitan area in the Middle East, after Cairo. Georges Candilis
Georges Candilis ( el, Γεώργιος Κανδύλης; 29 March 1913 – 10 May 1995) was a Greek-French architect and urbanist. Biography Born in Azerbaijan, he moved to Greece and graduated from the Polytechnic School of Athens between 1931 and 1936. In 1933 he met Le Corbusier during his studies, at CIAM IV, as a result he is assigned the direction of ASCORAL in 1943. In 1945, he moved to France in along with many other Greek intellectuals on the '' Mataroa'' voyage. There he worked for André Lurçat and Le Corbusier in their office, and was involved in the construction of the Unité d'Habitation de Marseille. Together with Shadrach Woods and Henri Piot he was engaged in the search for solutions in the problem of the rapidly urbanizing science of Islamic countries, combining low-cost construction and the use of traditional architectural elements. The Persian dictionary of ''Mo'in'' defines Mi'mar as: #That who devises the design and plan of a building, and overlooks its construction. #A Banna #That who is responsible for the building, developing, and repairs of a structure or edifice (Emārat). Fazlollah Reza
Fazlollah Reza ( fa, فضلالله رضا) (January 1, 1915 – November 19, 2019) was an Iranian university professor. Career Reza graduated from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Tehran in 1938, receiving a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He received a master's and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Columbia University in 1946 and Polytechnic University of New York (now New York University Tandon School of Engineering) in 1950 respectively. He was a Fellow of the IEEE and American Association for the Advancement of Science, AAAS for his contribution to network and information theory.
