Sian Morris
Sian Morris (born 16 June 1965) is a retired Welsh sprinter. At the 1986 Commonwealth Games, the most successful games for Wales ever, she won a bronze medal in the 4 × 100 metres relay together with Helen Miles, Sallyanne Short and Carmen Smart. Sprinting is running over a short distance at the top-most speed of the body in a limited period of time. Helen Miles
Helen Louise Miles (born 2 March 1967) is a Welsh former sprinter who competed mainly in the 100 metres. She represented Great Britain at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul. In 1985, she won a European Junior bronze medal in the 100 metres. Career Miles was born in Bridgend, Wales. She first came to prominence at the 1985 European Junior Championships in Cottbus, where she won two bronze medals, in the 100 metres, running 11.63 secs and the 4 × 100 m relay. Sallyanne Short (born 6 March 1968) is a Welsh former sprinter who competed in the 100 metres and 200 metres. She represented Great Britain in the 4 x 100 metres relay at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul. Career Short was born in Newport, Wales and began her international career in 1986. She represented Great Britain at the World Junior Championships in Athens and Wales at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, where she won a bronze medal in the 4 × 100 m relay.
