''Shy Boy'' is the third extended play (first Japanese release) by South Korean girl group Secret. The EP was released on November 16, 2011, it contains six songs. All songs are remakes of Secret's Korean songs including "Shy Boy" and "Starlight Moonlight". Release The plans of "Shy Boy" as Secret's second Japanese single was first announced on August 28, 2011. On September 28, 2011, teasers for the "Shy Boy" music video was released. The official music video was revealed on October 8, 2011. On November 8, 2011, the official music video for "Christmas Magic", a remake of "Starlight Moonlight" with a new Christmas beat was unveiled. Secret (South Korean Group)
Secret () was a South Korean K-pop girl group formed by TS Entertainment in 2009. The group originally debuted with four members: Jun Hyo-seong, Jung Ha-na, Song Ji-eun and Han Sun-hwa. They released their debut single ''I Want You Back'' October 2009. Secret's debut single did not meet great success and it was not until the following year that the group saw a rise in popularity. "Starlight Moonlight" (Korean: 별빛달빛) is a song by South Korean Kpop girl group Secret. The song was released as a CD single on June 1, 2011, through TS Entertainment. The song was written and produced by Kang Ji Won and Kim Ki Bum, the same producers of their previous hits such as "Magic", "Madonna" and "Shy Boy". “Starlight Moonlight” is a sweet, retro-inspired song with influences of traditional Korean folk music. The song's lyrics describe the protagonist's feelings when the man confesses his love, and compares the protagonist's feeling towards her lover as bright as the “Starlight” and “Moonlight”. The song was written and produced by Kang Jiwon and Kim Kibum. It was remade with Japanese lyrics and was on Secret's first Japanese EP, ''Shy Boy''.
