Shun Kubo (born April 8, 1990) is a Japanese professional boxer who held the WBA (Regular) super-bantamweight title in 2017. Professional career Kubo won his first twelve bouts and the WBA (Regular) super-bantamweight title on April 8, 2017, by defeating Nehomar Cermeño Nehomar Andrés Cermeño Febres (born June 7, 1979) is a Venezuelan professional boxer who held the WBA (Regular) super bantamweight title from 2016 to 2017. History Oriental boxing started in the Philippines in 1946 after the Spanish-American War.
