Shrikant Jadhav
Shrikant Jayawantrao Jadhav (born 15 March 1960) is an Indian former first-class cricketer who played for Maharashtra. He became a selector for the Maharashtra Cricket Association and a match referee, after his playing career. Life and career Jadhav played as an all-rounder who batted right-handed and bowled right-arm off break. He appeared in 53 first-class and 10 List A matches, in a career that lasted 12 seasons from 1982/83 to 1993/94. He also appeared for India Under-25s against the visiting Sri Lankan team in December 1986. He was a member of the Maharashtra team that finished runners-up at the 1992–93 Ranji Trophy and took a five-wicket haul in the final against Punjab. He also represented West Zone in the early-1990s. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. First-class Cricket
First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all.
