Husky are an indie folk band from Melbourne, Australia. They have opened for Neil Young, Devendra Banhart, Gotye, The Shins. History 2007-2013: ''Quiet Little Rage'' & ''Forever So'' In 2007, the band recorded and mixed an album at Sing Sing Recording Studios in Melbourne, with all songs written and produced by Husky Gawenda. The album was released in 2008 under the title ''Quiet Little Rage''. In 2011 and prior to release of ''Forever So'' Gawenda said "Unfortunately that record didn't get a proper release. The Archibald Prize is an Australian portraiture art prize for painting, generally seen as the most prestigious portrait prize in Australia. Yvette Coppersmith
Yvette Coppersmith (born 1980) is an Australian painter; she specialises in portraiture and still life. In 2018 she won the Archibald Prize with a self-portrait, in the style of George Lambert. Coppersmith studied at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australia. In 2003 she was the inaugural winner of the Metro 5 Art Prize and she has been a finalist a further four times (in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2021). She has been a finalist four times (in 2003, 2007, 2008 and 2016) in the Portia Geach Memorial Award. She has been a finalist in the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize four times (in 2002, 2006, 2007 and 2016). Avrom Reyzen
Avrom Reyzen (Yiddish: אַבֿרהם רייזען; April 8, 1876 – April 2, 1953), known as Abraham Reisen, was a Yiddish writer, poet and editor, and the elder brother of the Yiddishist Zalman Reisen. Reyzen was born in Koidanov (Minsk, eastern Belorussia). Supported by Yaknehoz (pseudonym of Yeshaye Nisn Hakoyen Goldberg), while in his early teens Reyzen sent articles to ''Dos Yudishes folks-blat'' in St Petersburg, Russia. He corresponded with Jacob Dinezon and I. L. Peretz.
